Huh buddy, not my business, but your entire block is gonna need major cleaning with everything open like that while the guys are grinding metal on top! Oh also, a roof scoop to guide the air from the top of the cab down to your coolers would look sick! You can also shape it so it covers your tanks and hoses, and bring the radiator back towards the front. Mount it on hinges or quick disconnect clips for easy access to the tanks.

He has since got a fully build aluminum block from tsp and cut more of his dash out and lost the rear metal rain guards, easily around 500-600 lbs. Making him right at 2000lbs. Jeremy isnt gonna be sub 3k so maybe 1/3 is a little bit of an exaggeration but he's a LOT lighter than Jeremy
@SoI_Badguy5 жыл бұрын
@@lb4899 What are you talking about? Leeroy has always had an aluminum engine. In fact, the newest engine (you know, his THIRD one) is an iron block motor from texas speed. Plus, he now has all the necessary cooling and the like that goes along with having a turbocharged setup, and what is probably one the most expansive and likely heavy as fuck roll cage since then. I'd bet my left nut that Leeroy is over 3200 pounds. Quit pulling numbers out of your ass, fiberglass bodies aren't that heavy. And they certainly aren't lighter than a roll cage that big.

hey , to reduce the flex in the chassis and body , drill holes all the way through the cab to the bed , and use body mounts as spacers between them then use a long bolt with big washers on the outside layers of steel and tighten them down. it helps join the bed to the cab structurally , and should theoretically increase chassis stiffness , for very little added weight and cost.
