@@MrDavidelliottjr I knew a guy with a 1979 plymouth valiant station wagon milquetoast mobile. On the hwy, you couldn't tell that he had tweaked it a bit. in the cockpit, all unusual switches and gauges were hidden. He started with an old school 440, had an underhood blower, 3 1/2" exhaust, 9" rearend with 398 diff and larger, but inconspicuous tires in the rear. He outran everything on the hwy and on the 1/2 mile. (except the gas station). That there was a definite sleeper. These days, words seem to be more for feeling rather than fact, unfortunately.

I was born @ Morton Plant back in 65. Aunt & Uncle still live off of Ulmerton Rd on Oak St. you could probably of thrown a rock and hit their house. Uncle was an outstanding marine mechanic and boat racer back in the 50's. Even with crappy plugs, that nitrous hit was unbelievable in 1st gear! Can't wait to see it run with the right plugs and a good 1-2 shift with no backfire.😁 As far as the turbo, *stay 'sleeper', please!* With that big K&N gone, there's plenty of room there to make a good heat-proof box for the turbo & feed it with a 2 into 1 from the headers that join right at the turbo to take advantage of the twin-scroll inlet, and dump back to the exhaust system (enlarged for the turbo, of course). You can always run a 90 degree pipe out in front of the radiator to re-mount your K&N for longevity. Later on you could explore the possibility of an intake with a water to air intercooler to get the most out of it! This is going to be a nice project, but if you want it to live long enough to give some Vets a fun ride, keep that boost down to a reasonable level. Those 4.6's *DO* have their limits like anything else!😉

It's easy with the rear mount battery. Just remove the plastic inner fenderwells. Then moving the power distribution block around, and the radiator overflow to create room. Everything is easy reattached to the fender or to custom mounts on the frame. That should create tons of room for a single turbo, and retain abs, fans, and radiator in stock spots.

Can you put the NoS line purge in the muffler for flame thrower effect, and do intercooler dry ice again plz. Put the turbo at the back before the muffler and pull air from the side or something to keep it from drinking water.

Remote mount the turbo at the rear of the car, put the wastegate and compressor bypasses at the front, air to air intercooler in the front, 4 bar map sensor....then do your tuning thing to make it light off well. May have to put some convertor in the thing because of the weight ( like 4000 rpm stall ) and lack of cubes

I'm with you and Cooper, keep it sleeper. Mount the turbo where the MAF sits presently. angled turbo with a cone filter direct to the housing. Should be able drop the downpipe down and run along the driver-side header down to the exhaust. Might be able to flip the stock manifolds for forward/upward facing outlets toward the turbocharger.

Just got my own Crown Vic, a retired Canadian Mounty patrol car, then turned taxi. Only *cough* 384k miles. Needs a lot of work. Rough on a cabbie salary though. Need valve cover gaskets and an oil pan gasket. Suspension, breaks...the list goes on lol.

You should do something different. You should run two different size turbo's. A smaller faster-spooling turbo for lower RPM's and a really large turbo to pick up the boost in the higher RPM's. That would be different and kinda cool to see how it would work for the Crown Vic.
