Not seen anyone talk about it so I'll drop this here: the Bray Exoscience simulation missions from Beyond Light award 2 or 3 pages + 240 candy on completion. It's Safeguard this week which takes about 3-4 minutes to finish. Public events are probably slightly more efficient overall but if you want a little change up then head over to Europa for what is basically free candy 👍

Load up expert haunted lost sector, go afk until time runs out, boss will spawn, kill boss and you'll still get loot. You can do this solo as well

The blight has reduced health each round, and the damage you do carries over. You can spawn heroic on the first blight but it'll probably take most of your heavy, but if you don't, the 2nd one should be really easy to push heroic. Been soloing these events for years as they, along with the giant Ether Servitors, are the fastest heroic events.

RNG as in it’s up to chance whether you get random blueberries that know to do this instead of destroying all the small blights. That is why this is the hardest event in the game. No blueberry knows what to do after like 6 years

There are 2 trees with candy not just the one by EVA. Look in the other courtyard by Hawthorn for the 2nd tree with candy

The Heroic public event with the taken is only the hardest one because you are literally RACING the ignorant blueberries to kill the main blight before they blow their entire loads on the bubbles. It’s super infuriating. Here’s a tip if you are one of them…you DO NOT DESTROY the bubbles and you do NOT kill all the taken. What you do is: go into the bubble, this gives you a buff, exit the bubble, shoot the F out of the main blight. When buff runs out the blight becomes immune to damage so you have to go back in to the bubble? Rinse repeat until the blight is destroyed. Some noobs think that they are actually triggering the heroic cause they are a badass killing all of the taken. NO. No you are not. It’s the OTHER guy with the better gear and higher power level that you have been wondering “What’s that idiot doing?” That triggered heroic. If you are shooting bubbles/killing taken YOU are indeed the problem. Stop it.

In my opinion all holidays activity should have 1 guaranteed or guarantees depending on normal difficulty festival/holiday activities then on harder difficulties should have guaranteed 2 and a chance to get 3 engrams in this festival for example. It would encourage players to try the activity and its a festival not a spare ration activity. Should just be for fun and let loose dont need to be like the best weapons are here or etc.

From my experience solo expert haunted sector it’s been guaranteed engram so far if you kill the headless ones or not I did one with 0 up til 8 kills but was told you just get more drops depending on 10+ kills

Here’s another way to farm candies. It’s mayhem this week and if you don’t mind playing it, you get 230 each match that you play and it only takes a few minutes. But I don’t think it drops eerie engrams though. I hope this helps.

That public event is only random if it reaches heroic because no one knows how to do it properly. Don't kill the blights. Don't kill taken. Before they added the tormentor, it would take less than 30 seconds from the start to killing the heroic boss. If there was a noob in the event killing the blights or taken, it would stuff it.

The event goes heroic from getting the debuff in the blights and shooting the middle orb until it dies.

If it Expert isn't matchmade, but it isn't anywhere on LFG, then it sou ds like something is bugged. My guess is the activity isn't matchmade because the power level went up since last year, so the game automatically set it to close matchmaking. Essentially, an updated value didn't get typed in somewhere. I hope they either open the Expert to matchmaking or they add the category to LFG in a quick patch. I actually enjoy the lost sectors because they are so fast.

Nah. PE are a good source but Altars of Sorrow is where it's at. Tier V don't let the wizards die. Just don't pick the up the swords and continue taking out the adds. As long as you kill adds your time won't run out and you will increase the timer. I used Graviton with void Hunter. Get to work on them add. Candies drops everywhere.

for me I do an expert run of the event solo as a titan and it takes Me around 10m to finish it haven't actually counted how much I get I guess I need to see if it's the way to go but I do it solo with syntho- assassin's and it's pretty easy

I can tell you've never used lfg. Dual destiny takes like 40-50 minutes every lfg run..... and that's assuming they don't rage and leave which happens about 1 in 4 runs of anything in lfg.

Hmm 🤔 I see how this is an effective farm method but its not very practical for the community. Most of the community logging on for FOTL barely if at all has touched a raid or even know loop mechanics. People have been lacking in build knowledge because the game doesn't have a good system put in place sadly. For easier use universally, I would say.... -The expert lost sectors is easy enough to scoop up some "engrams" (medium speed candy farm) -Pvp nets more and if you enjoy it is effortless -just playing the content you need done, candy is pretty free and you have 2 more weeks :3
