You kept asking for it, so here is my take on the popular Overheat and Ash Blast setup for Pyromancer. This build clears CT15 faster than anything else I have used on Pyro, and the upper limit is very high. Hope you all enjoy, make sure to leave a like and subscribe!

Great vid. I played Devastator to level 32 then tried the technomamcer. I liked the ability to freeze enemies but I just wasn’t digging it that much. I rolled a pyromancer and LOVE it. Burn!!!

I think for the elites your could use the point in the top tree where you can gain 45% anomaly power by using ash blast and great video 👍🏻 Your are like a pyro guru to me xD

I've been running the same kinda build but I don't have great luck with the op weapons. If you can could you look into the darkness charmer paired with scrap grenade. I use this paired with deathsheild. When it comes to bosses I've seen the charmer do about 2.5m per mod. After skills swap and drop the boss for rest of hp. Does on average half the hp bar or more.

Could you test the 3 piece reforged set. It looks as though thermal bomb could deal 180% damage by hitting 2 thermal bombs (set bonus 50%+50% branded 40% + 40%)... and then double fun on top would me your thermal bomb overall is dishing out 360% more in total

Am running ash blast overheat and eruptio but its seriously bad like way to slow cooldowns are a pain compared to how insane firepower can be. I dont have any heatwaves tier 3 mods so i guess ill go back to volcanic rounds...

Nice vid! I am missing some important tier III mods like Master Consumer and Detonator. I am only at CT 14 right now and I am using the middle tree with Heathwave, Feed the Flame and Eruption. Doing decent damage with tier II mods like Twice as Hot. Even though I am missing Master Consumer and a couple others, should I switch to the bottem tree and use Overheat and Ash Blast instead for a better build? Or should I wait untill the legendaries with the same mods drop? Really hope you or anyone else can answer! Thank you. :)

Missing untamed power. That is a key damage source because Meleeing counts as a skill and triggers it. Meleeing is good in between comet cycling.

Also I took off emergency stance and put on death sentence in its place and it’s pretty nuts on how fast it kills elites and trash mobs.

yeah all you're losing is the cooldown on overheat.

As long as you have 3 piece acari otherwise you're missing out on the huge anomaly bonus rendering the build useless.

I know this is an old vid but I finally got all the pieces for this build and was stoked to try it out. My build is almost identical to this with exception of a few rolls on gear so I ask how in the F$$! do you stay alive?..tons of dmg but survivabilty..are there any defensive mods that could be incorporated into the build without taking away overall dps?

Yep. I run this set up almost identical. Only difference is I run 4 piece Acarri so have the boots as well, only the gloves are purple, and I use damage absorber in place of pants on fire. So higher health by 4k and 60k more armour. At full debuff 300% on the set bonus I hit for 3 million damage on overheat. And the burns and skill leech constantly regen health. Very balanced build. I can solo CT15 gold on just about every exhibition. Only marshlands and paxian homestead are a pain!! So gold those on CT14 instead.

Trying to find Acari chest piece is disgusting. I use damage absorber and it seems to provide great protection while using Anemoi with moaning winds in close when skills on cool down.

Completely Agree. Get rid of anomaly Echo that just gives a flat and somewhat negligible 11.4k (this mod does not stack with multiple activations). The only case anomaly Echo is better is when you are soloing a boss. Problem with this is you must use another acari piece then (like the boots that have master consumer), because the waistcloth comes with Irradiation Wave which is really not good and you already switched out anomaly Echo.

Budget anomaly build = anomaly, status power, cool down reduction attributes... Hint: use green gear... Change rarity, choose preferred mod... Level it to max... Change rarity again etc. There's your basic anomally build.

@@keithgamingarchives I have everything needed for this build on the equipment side and can gold T15 (mainly chem lab and Archway) but it’s rough without Fortress plus I’m missing The meteorite mod on weapon as well. I’m making do with the reload damaging mod which puts me at harms way since I have to be close to elites to damage them. Meanwhile I have got EVERY OTHER legendary MULTIPLE times. :( Just missing the TWO key weapons to make things easy mode but RNG hates me and that’s with 190 hours played. :(

@@magichobo ouch :( 341 hours played?? Damn ... I just checked and I’m now 207 hours played and finaly got fortress and comet 2 days ago. And ouch 🤕 on the chest ... I find chest is hardest to get from Acari and I’ve only got it once with all this playtime but got a shit ton if all the other pieces. Overheat ever 4.8 seconds is just clutch.

Yeah just use the T1 consume Ash with Overheat. Mobbing will be pretty much the same, will probably lose some single target damage

@@Chadly99 So I used "cinders" instead of "master consumer" like you suggested. my level 28 world tier 10 pyro was doing pretty well with similar effects (just smaller) as yours. So feeling cocky I thought I'd try chem plant as my first pyro expedition for the easy silver one tier up. WTF Easy Gold!!!! My super duper techno I spent ages farming for never got close. Those pesky humans hiding behind cover. Ash Blast and Overheat with no legendaries killed it. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Everyone else said to use another build until I could farm master consumer. You are the Master!!!!

I think you're missing something here. Nobody is taking off ride the wave for tidal wave. They're using burnt out or have other mods distributed to different pieces depending on what their purples rolled with.

Every piece I have has CD reduction and eruption still has an almost 30s cooldown, tbh its trash when I can shoot map long FASER every 6s

Definitly recommend to look after volcanic round build as they're easier to put together at this stage around CT6 and more accessable as you can use a lot of Tier 1 mods to make it strong. After that you can build towards a solid acari build like shown here.

Keep your gear current & levelled. Even the attributes. Every level up spend shards get your stats to the max you’re allowed

If you go volcanic rounds try using the Heir to the Desert and feed the flames mod that gives you 30% ammo back and the mod where you can branch it to one other person and you’ll have no issues running the volcanic rounds build. Also keep the main perk on Heir to the Desert and put killing spree on the bottom slot. If you have the death sentence mod slap that bad boy on as well and you’ll be flexing through content. At Ct-15 I was able to 4 bang a brood mother with my setup.

@@time4weed74 If you do all ten hunts and then turn in those hunts, you'll get a legendary armor. The first time you do this it should come up as a reward you can pick and choose from. After the first time you do this the game will just give you a random legendary. Once you turn in the hunts the second time don't leave the store completely or you'll be stuck with whatever the game gave you. If you go to sell items, you'll be able to see what legendary item you have. Now at this point you can close the game and open it up and go back to the dude to get a new legendary or you can just leave the store if you like the one they gave you. Hope this helps!

All armor pieces are available from Noah as are all weapons from ujio, it's just pure rng as there are 95 armor pieces to roll for

Its literally only a .6 second cooldown difference for overheat, it's not going to make a noticable difference unless you're trying to top the leaderboards.

Good question, in theory it maybe could, but it wouldn't be anywhere close to being as effective or efficient than if you had/use the set. The set bonus is great- imo the real strength here are the t3 mods. As he stated in the video even this struggles with boss dps, and keep in mind something that gets glazed over in a lot of these ap build video the weapons/weapon mods are just as important as the armor, which of course is all t3 mods.

Nop. Acari boosts your damage by a shit ton I tried levelling without the whole set and it was a nightmare. I ended up using faser beam to be at least competitive

Ma guy just answer this, Why Play? It has an uninteresting story with 0 replayability, meaning you get nothing from going back and doing everything at LVL 42 other than redoing a story that goes nowhere. And the endgame is not just uninspired, there is no point in getting there, because all you are doing is beating a clock. They sold this game as a complete experience and it did deliver on that, the game is fun the first time around but it's a limited finished experience that leaves you wishing it had more but then hits you with the realization the whole point is that your journey lead to a wasteland filled with emptiness.

Because it's fun, there's 4 classes with, believe it or not, a shit tonne of customisation, it's a looter shooter, it's got a decent community (even tho 90% of the subreddit complain about everything but that's common on Reddit) because throwing fire is fucken epic and there's 100+ legendary pieces to find. Now yeah there's a few issues here and there but what game doesn't have issues.
