The only one i see was a quote from 2 days ago before the second patch, that they said was the one who solved every type of problem about survivability. No replies from PCF since then, i cant find any official statement about new patch to fix armour problems, even on other social medias. Can you link me the official post you are talking about?

@@requiemagent3014 The only quote i see about armour problems is before the second patch they released that day (infact at the end of the post they said that it was gonna get fixed in the next 5 minutes with the release of another patch). Maybe you are mistaking that quote for a new quote about a new incoming patch. After the second patch of Friday, no official comments were made about an armor issue. The quote you are talking about is referring at first patch, so basically in their beliefs they solved the problem with the second update made that same day.

just tried it with my techno. Same build just without the 2 T3 weapon mods (honestly would be even worse with the healt leech mod). I‘m just dropping like a fly on T12 (twelve!). If I get poison or knockback and don’t use gaming superpowers (= PC and a mouse) I‘m dead. This instant 150 meter one burst shots to enemies behind cover are just IMPOSSIBLE on XBOX. Maybe I‘m a bad gamer/shooter but that should result in bad CT15 timers and not in dropping dead 3 tier lower that I played before.

Try a venom x or venom x4, a hori tac if you are good with m&k, or even a Splitfish FragFX. In 2021, theres no reason any of you console players should have to suffer w/ a controller. The even better news is, these are less expensive than an xbox elite controller or some scufs

I was on console early 2ks. Once I switched... night and day. Not even close. Battlefield/Overwatch/Valorant/etc; you will never want to go back. Anyway, cheers and good luck.

NickTew how is your earthborn assault rifle at 93k. And I leveled mine up to level 50 and it only gives me 85k on tactical variant. It's a dlc weapon. Are the stats random for firepower? Let me know. And nice video.

Yeah yeah armor stacks up and gives a lot of damage reduction. In stats. In reality it does nothing atm xD Well something is broken, 1 small mob eats 70-80% of ur HP with 1 hit. The shield and golem work tho

@@NickTew it worked fine before the most recent update, and PCF even confirmed on twitter ( piunikaweb.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/outriders-issue-acknowledged.jpg ) that something is wrong with armor etc. They said maintenance gonna fix it, I m just not sure did we receive it already or not xD Need to go test. @@NickTew Actually yesterday I started paying attention to "damage blocked" stat after expeditions and it was very inconsistant, sometimes it works, someimes it doesn`t. Played solo and in party of 3, and we all had that. That said if I understand correctly that "damage blocked" is the damage that our armor eats. Sometimes its like 1% or less of total damage (taken+blocked), and sometimes its as it should be (around 50-80% depending on mods) (no shields).

Or better yet...everyone stop playing who hasn't super farmed when it was easier to do so until the game is actually balanced more and retuned. Streamer notoriety killing games the oldest of ways in the newest of fashions. All of the streamer/youtuber/content creators have farmed like crazy, and keep providing these best build series with said farmed legendary skills. Watch widdz will copy anything Nick does and throw up a video within 24 hours. I like Nick and watching his streams, I like watching what a farmed out pc player can do when just curb stomping things, but I hate everyone's collective best build videos. At least Nick does give it to is straight with info. This is the only way you know he is legit where others copy him. Nick gives us the reasoning and number crunching. Edit: phone likes auto correcting streamer to steamer. Kind of funny.

Either i'm a dumb dumb but i have the exact same gear except my weapon is a 95k version and i've maxed out all attributes but i'm still only at 196k firepower. I was at 208k prepatch and now it's just lower. So what am i doing wrong?

Yeah got a techno power leveled today, done a ct 13, so level 49 gear, but boy am I jealous of all you people with all the legendaries you need to make these builds viable. Hitting for 22k on a level 49 renegades rifle at 79k base damage and crits all over the shop...and damn the devs, patching the tactical swap for more firepower only screws over the people who are new to the game or took their time doing the campaign to appreciate the campaign because it is pretty awesome. I don't get it - most of the player base has these and now people can't, but everyone with them didn't get their weapons base damage nerfed back down to balance it. Fucking devs. Still enjoying the game but boy is it frustrating.

This is another example of streamers hurting a player base. Too much notoriety and all the nerfs and wrong fixes start rolling in. Most players are hurt by it whereas the streamer has already farmed everything needed for all of their "best build" videos.

I love my techno but I wish anomaly builds were way more viable. Hitting critical on console is so hard because the auto aim is so bad and clunky. I wish there was cross progression to pc.......yet I can play outriders on my phone with same account which is weird

Can’t confirm with absolute certainty, but plague gloves seem to have a higher rate at colosseum. Me and 2 other people all pulled ours there within 10 leggos there. Couldn’t hurt to try there.

Easier to aim on PC. The aim assist on console is insanely strong towards the torso too so you're fighting it when trying for headshots.

Have you done something like start a new character, progress on stream, and build the character as if you're new to the game? Using only the things you find and tune your character for that along the way? Giving the general public hope that they too can progress newly through and without legendary mods. No carries from friends. No help from crazy builds. Sub optimal build yet still clearing gold Ct as a noob style build.

When I do get a legendary it’s usually cannonball pants....I appreciate the effort put into these videos, but only the 1% can actually build them.

With lvl 50 gear and a 97% perfect techno build and 18k max hp. If theres no armor bug, how then do i walk around a corner, (with 12k hp) mid expedition, (ct 14, colussum) and get 1 shot by an alpha that leaped from 5 ft in front of me? My techno isnt no slouch and ive done that expedition on ct15 solo and gotten gold many times. There is definitely something wrong with the armor.

FYI long range reduces the 10m threshold between close and long range; it moves the threshold from 10m DOWN [unless something has changed] making the close range band smaller and long range more inclusive. IIRC close range pushe the threshold of 10m further out.

So I'm trying your build and it's not the same, got everything level 50 all mods the same except I don't have Dark Sacrifice so use Fortress instead (which you used previously not much difference in your video) the issue I'm having is you freeze and explode many while I don't seem to explode as many. im running exactly same build with one exception that im not using mod that shields me when hp drops, instead of that i do critstack. highest ive seen was 1.6mln crit. you did 2m+ crit on beggining of video. hummm (also my gun has 0.4k firepower more than yours, any clue where that dmg difference comes from?)

at video number 5.32 you have this weapon, I assume it is the same weapon given by the game at the beginning of the game. but the same weapon brought to level 50 does not give me the same firepower you obtained, I only reach 85.7 firepower, you have 93.2. why this? thanks.

Just bought and stripped out the T3 mod from the legendary frozen sniper. On my main LMG, its so good, almost always freezing enemies. Its great AoE crowd control.

Copied as much as I can of this build. Still need to find weapons and armour, with critical, and long range damage, Plus more tier 3 perks. My damage has went from, 25million to 75 million, damage done, at the end of an expedition. Thanks for the video and tips.

Borealis set need chest. Add shatter (25% DMG to freeze afflicted) cooldown and anomaly power on the rolls and coldsnap ND cryo turret . Baby wipes everything.

This only works on PC. No one has this type of aim on console with the horrific ADS that the devs designed for controller. Really wish we could see a console-viable build that doesn't involve headshot/critshot mods. This stuff is just near impossible with a controller.

As far as I know anomaly damage ignores shield? So Perserverance Shield seems useless as a way to deal with anomaly power. As a Trickster, the only time I get One-Shot with Shields up is by high anomaly damage for example by being in close range while crawlers do Overcharge. So whats the truth here?

Dark sacrifice is better for sure killing spree starts to disapear right away and it maxes out less then 75% as it drops by aboit 1.25 % each second and it takes 1 second to proc so now your at 2 kills at 47.5 then the on kill 3 your at best 73.25 is or so at best

I think with killing spree it stacks the 25% bonuses separately. Maybe that’s how it’s being applied? And then with the dark sacrifice it’s a flat 75%?

Seems reasonable together with that the deterioration applies for all three individual stacks individually so that it starts to deteriorate with the first stack and then again with the second stack without resetting for the first stack etc instead of resetting the deterioration timer when each stack is applied until it tops out at three stacks and then it cannot be reset. All this together makes sense.

@@Vibrosis8703 when testing I immediately target swapped to an elite less than 2 seconds after getting the first 3 kills, and the damage was still much less than dark sac even when doing that. I thought the deterioration could be a factor, but that doesn't seem to be the case

@@NickTew That is indeed very interesting. I was thinking that some degree of deterioration already happens for the first stack while you are accumulating your second stack then they both deteriorate idependently of eachother with their own timers and the same goes for the third stack. This can be tested however a bit tedious by waiting different amount of time before getting your second stack and gather damage data on that. No doubt u can speed run with this build but there is no interesting thing about this build. Its not satisfying to use this when a game gives u all these cool ways to diversify your build and be unique but instead its better to just run purple. Sets should be a thing. Team comp should be more of a thing. Aggro should b a thing. Sorry but the build is boring but ur skill is impressive.

Hey man. I was having issues with Toxic lead procing on MM, swapped over the the blighted specific mag return and its been way more consistent for me so far. I think the update may have bugged toxic lead

1 thing I havent seen any YTr/Streamer/Redditers saying post patch, that did not adjust as easily as you and a few others who have already dropped a guide is: "(Guys, I havent figured it out yet, hold on we will get this)". No one is ever real enough w/ their audience to say that. Instead, unfortunately Ive seen feeding the flames videos, misinformation & in one very disappointing surprise 1 group dropped a "Its time to move on..." that was a let down. The set bonus is actually really shit, it's 70% of your weapons damage, not total firepower.

Just having a go with this build. Instead of dum-dum i have crit stack and due not getting the right armors spare mag/trick up the sleeve instead of toxic lead. also missing a proper crit dmg AR, having a armor pierce one but so far it feels great to run this build, thank you!

12:57 One of my biggest complaints during CT15s is using mitigation from death and getting hit once losing almost all of my health. I wouldn't go so far as to call everyone's claims a lie. Now, for me, there seems to be a time when my armor decides to count and when it doesn't. I can go on a killing spree knowing that my armor is sitting at 243k and a little red perforo will swipe me instantly dropping me below the 30% health threshold. Same scenario but all of a sudden die in two hits to an Alpha perforo. Then, there are times when I am getting jumped by 5 Alphas and I am the tankiest god you have ever seen. I should mention that I play technomancer and have only played technomancer. I definitely think there is something up with the armor registering and knowing that my armor should be sitting at max damage resistance only pisses me off more when I take so much damage, so quickly, from something so insignificant.
