I really wish we could keep a good pace like you usually do on our job sites. Unfortunately it has become more about production than quality and some actually hold it against you for being a perfectionist or taking great pride in your quality of work. I really enjoy your work ethic and vids altogether. Great work brother

True if there's enough mud when you cut it off. I didn't get to see how much mud was spread, furrowed, or cut back. We call it when cutting the mud off "the hook and run". If done right, you'll have a full head joint. P.S. the brick were " hacked" on the wall, increases the count "speed".

@@Stucrompton1 Exactly mate. Quality over quantity. I see so many gangs bang some profiles up and then just throw bricks down with no finesse, pride or care, just chasing money and the work always looks shite because of it. Id rather earn a few quid less and go home feeling satisfied with the work ive turned out. Plus like you said, working at that pace all day every day is no good for your health

Them commons are there for a job and a job only who cares about them, get them in mate. Top two course facework only seen. Make the money while its good. Curved step shows that you care. Footings are there to be smashed? As long as they are plumb, gauge to ffl and square with all internals in the right place 👍👍👍. Get the coin cause nowts seen. Hence why you done this vid

@Stucrompton14 жыл бұрын
It was just a bit of a speed test, when I go at my normal snail pace my joints are pretty much full that’s not to say a few holes here or there need filling because I leave them sometimes, we all do, well apart from you of course who has never left any small holes ever in your career, Cheers for watching

Bricklaying is not something you can just watch and pick up a trowel and start doing it straight away. Same as anything it takes years to master and even then not every person can be a Bricky because you have to have the eye for it 👍
