Great informative video but a few things were not mentioned: 1. There are actually 2 cavern crawls, resulting in a total of 58.5 levels. 2. Guild contracts do actually give bp xp. So if you bought a standard level 1 battlepass, assuming you go for maximum efficiency on your tips, wagers and bounties, and if we also get the bonus 20 levels from the prize pool and used all your portals... You would at least hit level 100-120 which is still pretty trash.

@@ratzkykim4204 im at work rn gladly will give u the whole information but basically try to olay gauntlets every day meanwhile pick contract and check cavern and try to ckmbine guild contract with a cavern hero into a gauntlet that way you will do 3 tasks in one game also spend your tips due to achievements for bpoints and try to high five players and try the soccer ball on enemy u score goals u get points as for the rest just make a research for yourself what you can do more try to seek those bounty targets or even set some but try not to killcthe target if u put it on the head

Thanks for the analysis man, was almost about to invest myself back into DotA. it's good to know that daily efforts over 3 months won't amount to a third of the requirements to get Skeleton King, and despite how I love him, I wouldn't spend over 100€ that I could spend on so many other games. I have received 1 immortal iii, 2 immortal ii and several immortal i treasures off of around 150 portals. Comparatively, i have had about 6 immortal i, 2 immortal ii and 0 immortal iii out of around 5k sideshop gold (if not more). The portals are rather tedious and often receive nothing but for the sideshop gold value, once you've completed the collect em all achievement you may as well just aim for red gems and trade in for consumables

Dota's battlepass is the worst battlepass. The only battlepass worse than a dota battlepass is the next dota battlepass. There is no fun, no way to level up, no way to progress, not a rewarding experience at all. You dont pay for a battlepass. You pay for a pass to pay levels. And people defend this crap as if it is okay to design something so bad. It is okay to pay 45USD so you have to pay 100USD more to get any good rewards. Every game community has people that pays for levels and grinders. Dota gives a fuck about grinders. Grinders will end up quitting the game because there is no sense of progression or accomplishment in this game (unless you constantly rank up but how many people does actually rank up. If that is the only reward you offer as a game designer people will quit).

25% goes to the Prize Pool, the rest of that pays off Dota 2 community workers. Not only that, but events that Dota throws around the world (Major League’s aside from TI) not only throwing the competition but also leasing a huge place for players + dota 2 fans to enter and watch. Setting up the whole place & etc. hiring security guards commentators not only work on the high brackets but the lower ones. Not only that but to give 1st,2nd,&3rd qualifier teams that fought there way up to not only be attending TI but placing in the big 3. And being in the big 3 gives a lot of rewards to its players and teams. If you compared TI now then 4-5 years ago it was entirely different. But Dota 2 has the biggest prize pool in EA Sports. You are not obligated to spend money at all or just spend the amount you want to spend. There’s so many ways to level up now compared to before. You just gotta keep grinding. And if your going to ask me this, I spent $200 for this years battlepass.

If each of 5 players uses golden wagger means everyone from party will get 500 BP. Though lvl 500 is a bit to high. Maximum for lvl 1 BP player is about to 3-10 lvls.

Guys there is only one thing we can do. Stop buying levels or buying battlepass. So then maybe, maybe valve will do something if we don't reach the expected prize pool. At that point they will release BP levels at very good discounts

Yes it does. But if you do hero challenges/cavern, you need to do it 2 times for each heroes to unlock it.

We have been scammed by Valve. we already paid much. and still we coudln't get any stuff lol. other than those immortals duplicates . unlike in other games, spending around $44 could get you almost everything. with Dota 2, we couln'dt get anything with our $44. Man thanks for the vid really. All those big rewards in the higher lvls can be kinda deceiving. I didn't know how battle pass worked at all. Now I'm not buying for sure and stick to my dota plus.

So practically,even getting level 150 from lvl 1 w/o paying shit tons of money is impossible. That's fucking brutal. How about you win a game 1 level up and lose you get 500 or 300 points? I mean you still gotta play several hundred hours to get 575 lvl WR arcana which is majority of people are aiming at. This leveling system is ludicrous.

Just focus on tier 4 heroes and ignore doom, you'll surely get an arcana with minimum bp lvl of 380-400
