The head of the family BAPURAJAPURAM BALAKRISHNA SASTRIGAL had been with Maha Periyavaa since 1960 and follows HIS footsteps meticulously.
'PERIYAVAA' series will provide an insight into the life of KANCHI MAHAN, HIS Upadesams, HIS untiring efforts to reinstate SANATHANA DHARMA, VEDA SAMRAKHANAM and also highlight HIS views on varied subjects including art & culture, science, politics and how a human being should conduct himself in his day to day life!
The highlight of this Series is almost all the artistes are facing the camera for the first time!
The series will focus on the seer who is believed to be the REINCARNATION OF LORD PARAMASIVAN himself, having descended on the Earth to propagate Sanathana Dharma and lead humanity to the path of righteousness.
The prime aim of the Series will be to highlight the purpose of HIS being on this Universe and what HE lived for, rather than capturing the miracles attributed to HIM.
The series is to be totally funded by the Rasikas with their contributions
This is, therefore, an earnest appeal to all the Devotees of Maha Periyavaa to come forward and contribute ‘Yatha Shakthi’ and ensure that the lofty ideals fructify.

Namaskaram..Just one more episode, this serial will come to an end..Excellent job done by Bombay Chakya and the entire cast...Sorry to point out one slip up....As per the story Chandru and Anusha are coming to India after a long stay in the US..with children..it follows naturally that as per American Rules Shankaran would be a US citizen by birth, .whereas the passport shown in the Episode is Indian Passport..Nowhere it was told that Shankaran was born in India and NOT US..A little more care could have been taken to show US passport in the episode...Namaskaram..

I also thought the same thing. But since Sankaran and Janani had Indian passports , we can conclude that they were Indian Citizens and not US citizens. Not necessary to mention in dialogues.. ( For more confusion: If they are Indian citizens , deliveries must have happened in India and who helped Anusha in those times since her parents are not shown or discussed about in any of the episodes).
