Fastpacking the MOUNTAIN route of the CUMBRIA WAY #2

The classic Cumbria Way is an iconic Lakeland trail, but what about the mountain route? Having previously completed the classic Cumbria Way, I now venture into the fells to follow the Mountain route. This is also my first attempt at Fastpacking, lighter load and faster pace results in a transverse of 3 days to complete the journey, this video is day two.

On this day we link the Langdale Valley with the slopes of Skiddaw, having visited the Wainwright fell tops of Rossett Pike, Allen Crags, Glaramara and Wall Crag. Before our wild camp on the slopes of Skiddaw we visit Keswick and have some sneaky fish and chips.

Hi Nigel, really enjoying your videos. I only discovered your channel a few days ago whilst searching You Tube for West Pennine Moors content. I'm currently working my way through your back catalogue from the begining and enjoying it immensely. Anglezarke and Darwen Moora are right on my doorstep and no matter how may times i venture out , whether wild camping or just hiking, i find something new. Great channel.👍
