Well done lads that great work I miss it so much. Crows feet are great tools first came across them working on aircraft hydraulic lines. Love the home tool for ball joint play. Mystery tool is tread gauges. Mick an ould hand I bet there his😀

not such an issue because front axle is only working hard in 4wd, rear diff works hard all the time in 2wd

Feeler gauge s mystery tool.A few years ago a friend with a dash cam was following a fast rack on the Ashford bypass and my niece had just passed it when the drive shaft broke I think as I saw it fly out on the video. The driver lost control and it went to the right when he hit the brakes hitting a car up against the centre barrier luckily no major injuries. My niece saw it all happening in her mirror and stopped to go back to offer help.Everyone rushed to check the car’s occupants but she looked at the Fastrack driver and thought he was going to pass out or have a heart attack still gripping the steering wheel. She went to her car and got him water till he felt better because she said that could be her Dad in a situation like that on a tractor with nobody to his assistance till emergency services arrive. My friend gave the dash cam footage to the guard’s to prove the driver only lost control because of mechanical failure rather than driver error. We would amagine everyone made a full recovery.
