Great Review, received my Himiway last week and put it together today. The greatest gift I purchased for my Birthday and Christmas. Plan to do a lot of riding to work and adventurous fun. Will pay for itself by reducing the cost of Gas.

Eddie< My bike is in good condition, got over 800 mile on it, will take it in for a tune up once I reach a thousand miles, haven't been riding much lately due weather, but will get it out of the shed and put some more miles on it and get some exercise too.

Buy the Hydraulic brake calipers. If You do that You won't loose Your motor cutoff when You use the brakes. A full hydraulic system will take away that cut off feature. Bolton eBikes sells the calipers for $150.00 delivered. I have them on My Himiway and they work excellent !!

I have the step thru and increased the speed settings from the 5 to 9. Better range of speeds when on the trails. Handiest add on item was the front basket. Great for running to the grocery store or loading extra items for a couple nights of bike camping. Two panniers on the rear and the basket on the front.

I take mine out and ride Texas A & M campus and it's a Blast. Sooooo much fun and You will go a lot farther on windy days with the assist there to be Your friend.

The only thing that reviewers never mention is the fact that Himiway has NO warranty. They do claim to have a 2 year warranty but they will only ship you replacement parts if you pay the shipping which is four times the cost of the part and then you must install it yourself. There is no actual warranty read the warranty policy. I know because I have had to use it.

I feel like that weight would suck to actually use as a mountain bike for technical trails. I can't imagine jumping up and down rocks and if I eat shit...all of that weight is going to injure me pretty badly depending on how I crash. Seems like an amazing bike for commuting though. Great power, fat tires are perfect for going over pretty much everything, just not actual mountain bike trails.

Got my Cruiser 7/21/21. They now have them governed to no more that 28.6 mph., 'after' maxing-out the computer; not that it isn't fast enough.

Had so much trouble with Himiway. They tried to replace my faulty motor 3 times instead of letting me ship the bike back for a replacement. Took 6 months and I had to take it to a mechanic to replace. Then, still didn’t work and they wanted me to buy another one and return the old one before they would send me a new one. I think they’re customer service is in China? Just get something local because Himiway doesn’t know how to fix their problems.

You say you normally ride mountain bikes, so is this your first FAT bike? How much different are the fat tires compared to the mountain bike tires. I recently bought a pedal assist mountain bike. But all these FAT bikes look so great I want one and never road one. I see a BUNCH of reviews for the Himiway Cruiser, all good.

Thinking about one--great review--you are riding on the type of terrain I also live near.This ebike looks more then capable.I mean 20 plus mph--no way you could keep up that speed on a pedal powered mountain bike.Also the price--this is about what a very good mountain bike would cost and seems much more capable.
