Before there was Arturo, there was George Washington Williams, Williams Wells Brown, and James Pennington who published works on the history of Black people from the African diaspora starting in the mid 1800's. Furthermore, there were contemporaries to Arturo at the time such as Carter G. Woodson. Also, HBCU's such as Tuskeegee Univrersity were curating works on the Black diaspora during the same era as Arturo. All the people I mentioned were Black American descendants of US Chattel Slavery from non-immigrant backgrounds. Arturo didn't initiate the study or curation of Black history here in the USA, but he did contribute to it.

I said predominantly FBAs voted for Kamala, meaning most of her votes came from FBAs, but since FBAs are a numeric minority she lost because most white people voted for Trump. 🤦🏻♂️ Only about 20% of black Americans registered to vote did so for Trump. The rest voted for Kamala.

I was born in 1975 and I have seen a lot a whole lot and what I can't believe is how hated we were growing up for being "black" Even in the TV sitcoms and stuff it's like we had to fight to get where we are today. There’s a video on here called Black Americans birth hip-hop by Truth Savior it’s a very good video proving the origin of hip-hop. Starting at 13 minutes and 40 seconds in Cool Herc in his own words explains that Jamaican culture had nothing to do with the birth of hip-hop, respectfully.
