Hey VJ, im a great fan of your videos and have a qn here.. Does calorie deficit really work? Suppose if we consider the calories of an apple and a diet coke, apple has around 100 calories wherein a diet coke is 0 but that doesnt mean that diet coke is healthy and good to have.So if we add that in our calorie app, it still stays “We are good to eat more” . So my qn here is do we need to follow a healthy diet or can we still eat junk by counting the calories?

Nice video! If you want to lose fat without losing muscle, lifting weights is the way to go. Spending hours on the cardio machine will help you lose weight, but that weight will be from muscle as well, and the result will be something called skinny fat where you have skinny body frame but still fat around belly region. With lifting weights, you can burn fat faster, build muscle at the same time (provided you eat plenty of protein) and have an aesthetic body appearance like you want.
