Dear Mike, hope you read this comment. I am living in Italy and I totally understand your point. Money helps but we don't live for money. As a long time fan, I saw the band 4 times, but still, I haven't had a chance to see you play Shower Day. You left Ribbed album out of the tour!!! I am crying and sad and disappointed 😢😢😢😢😢 Will I ever see you sing those songs?! By the way I live in Florence where you first saw Indigesti❤

Hayley has been a commodity before Paramore. Her whole public existence is fraud. Signed to Atlantic as a solo artist but "she" didn't want to appear that way, so they created Paramore and funneled it through a subsidiary, "Fueled By Ramen" to make it look like she and paramore rose up through the ranks. I saw DJ Quik at a NOFX backyard party…. Propelled them into God Tier for me. We opened up for the Gimmes in Vegas a lifetime ago and afterwards our friend Joni (RIP) let us crash her suite afterwards. It happened to be next to Mike so we were invited to the coolest after party. True to form, Mike ends up in his briefs and a dog collar giving people “horsie rides”. I was gonna say fuck it and hop on because I couldn’t think of anything more punk rock in my life at the moment but Johnny and Darius from SU wanted to go get food and I was in deep conversation with both so as I’m leaving Mike hollers at me “HEY” and throw a beer coozie at me like a ninja star it said “I party harder than Fat Mike” . One year at PRB my team bowled next to “The Pin Ladens” I was so excited I kept buying trays and trays of patron silver, Mike got super ham with us and had to do a show at HOB that night. He barely made it to his mic a fell upon his monitor. He tried to do his set from the floor. He did say “ fuck you to the guy feeding me patron shots all day at the bowling alley “ it was his last coherent sentence I remember. They were particularly bad this night but we all had a blast. The were crowd surfing the trash cans, we don’t even know where they came from. It was a shitty mess. I have tons of cool punk rock stories from my time in the scene. Mike happens to be in a few. He causes a great big tsunami when he moves around and I always find myself in the turbulence amongst punk rocks greats. I love the scene because the pioneers were so accessible if you weren’t a spaz or a dick they’d have a beer with you. I had the privilege to play and party with lots of them . I can’t wait to see the museum , and I fucking love the MBA🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Hayley is an insanely talented vocalist. But she is toxic as shit. You can trash Josh Farro, maybe he has an ego and his Christian views skew fundamentalist... but I am sure part of her family is like that as well. She cheated on him, and then married and divorced the man she cheated on him with. Josh was not WRONG, she was THE ONLY ONE signed to the label, the rest of them treated like her band, when THEY were the band SHE joined. Further proof by screwing Jeremy out of more royalties and basically called him "just a musician" instead of a contributing member. It is great and all she is with Taylor, and Zack has come back and all, but if anyone thinks for a minute she is 100% in the right and has no responsibility to the toxic culture around her, they are delusional. Like it or not, the SOUND of Paramore musically was Josh.

People really need to learn that saying provocative stuff and being politically incorrect on a verbal level is one thing. And by the way this has always been a huge part of punk rock itself. Remember Sid Vicious wearing a swastika shirt. It is the DNA of punk rock to insult, have fun and be a menace to society. So bragging about Fat Mike being rude is hilarious. But the most important thing is not what is being said but how you act. And NOFX has always been an anti-racist, pro-feminism Band with a singer who stands for sexual freedom like no one else in the whole punk scene. Someone who makes himself a target of conservative america by wearing female clothes and preaching about S&M. So to me … the fact that she is not responding to his calls shows clearly that she tried to use him for PR.

it was a crude joke from someone who has spent over 5 decades making crude jokes. more recently he made a joke in Vegas about the shooting, people didn't find it funny. but he's owned it all because he's a solid dude. she doesn't want to take his call because she knows his apology will be legit and it will disarm any ill feelings she has towards him. I feel her refusal to hear him contradicts her own personal beliefs of forgiveness. nowadays, people reserve the right to be a victim. I don't doubt she's had to put up with all kinds of rubbish that females in entertainment all endure, but in a way it's like she's taking it all out on him. there are plenty of creeps in the world, Fat Mike is NOT one of them, he just has his own brand, which like NoFx, is not for mass consumption.

Most of us don't know if Williams is genuinely hurt since we don't know her, but we know there is a power gap dynamic because Burkett is the warptour...and in real time she wasn't in great position to be assertive but also at nineteen, wasn't confident his judgement is questionable...He can be aware of that in himself, but Burkett's nature seems to be he feels more genuine being low self monitor and no reconciliation looks realistic there...Unless she takes high road, and that might not be so punk for either this point.

The argument is counter intuitive. If a woman is in a band and you treat her different because she is female then it's sexist right? Fat mike sais a joke which he'd say about anyone and it's sexist? Isn't that treating her equally? I guess not, I guess that too is sexist. Can't have it both ways. If you want to be treated the same don't play victim because of it. In this case I can't see why fat mike owes an apology when he.was literally doing what feminists claim to fight for... equally joking about her as if she were ANYONE else. I'm gay I hate to even have to say it as of its relevant but the whole idea of trying to label everyone and everything and walking on eggshells and this progressive mindset has turned so many into fearful politically correct robots who aren't allowed to be themselves without the consent of a mob who gets to decide what is and is not offensive. NOFX has bent over backwards to try and make people happy to such an extent that I think they have every right to say fuck everyone. If NOFX knows their own intentions and knows their own hearts they have absolutlry nothing to prove to anyone else. Rock on fat mike!

HW has wonderful talent, voice, stage presence and charisma. As a musician I have huge respect for her, but she has a long way to go with her political due diligence. Before she gets on stage and rants about whatever talking point TikTok or CNN tells her to, she needs to actually read in detail what she's talking about. She will avoid embarrassing herself and unnecessarily alienating part of her fanbase if she actually reads the HBs and Constitution. Have some understanding about how laws and rights work before she sticks her foot in her mouth.
