Was great seeing these guys for the ‘last’ time in Tacoma last year. Some chic was playing her Eras tour in the stadium across the parking lot. I refused to get into NOFX when i was in my late teens to mid 20s. Was into the classics and hardcore stuff (or what we called hardcore at the time- dont give me some purist lecture about what is called what) like Ambeix, Nausea and others. Just saw bands like NOFX and Rancid as fake punk..But by 23 or 24 I fell in love with NOFX. Changed my mind, chilled out and just liked what sounded good..Even got ino Rancid later too.. It's ironic but punk rock can be the most judgemental scene out there..If you got shit to say, go right on.. that's your right to do it. I'm not one to step on free speech like a lot of other leftists like doing. But I'm not going to argue with you over it..just dont have the energy for it and as an ex-punk im still more punk than most of em.😱 No group think here!
