I got bullied as a skinny person , I always was , cause as a woman “I’m too flat” “Not womanly enough” so I guess people always find something to hate, the best thing is to do what is right and healthy for yourself which isn’t obesity. Also another advice don’t stay in the past, move on, don’t make yourself a victim I know from experience that it’s hard but staying with that mentally only makes you a bitter , toxic, miserable person that hates her/himself and causes you to hate everybody else and you lose logic and morals from that.

it takes zero effort to be fat. it takes a LOT of effort to go from fat to fit, and yes, fit=healthy. thats an accomplishment. you SHOULD be proud of it, and of course when you're proud of something you want to share it. I'm not very overweight, but i have health conditions that make physical activities very very difficult. My goal is to become fit, not for weight purposes, but to help my health conditions. you'd best believe I'm gonna show off and be proud when I accomplish that goal. A lot of these people who make excuses are delusional and don't want to be told what to do and would rather take the easy way out (how I once thought). Death by eating crap food or too much food. They need to get to a point on their own and realize how detrimental being fat really is. They are being unhealthy and toxic to themselves, it's not something that others should be responsible for when it is possible to fix it themselves. Do better! Had a gout flareup and gained weight back up to 420 a few months ago BUT since then am finally back down to 389 lbs. Has been a grueling process, but after many mistakes and much time to see what works and what doesn't, I have figured out what works for me to lose the weight. Intermittent fasting + counting calories. It's a good system, but you have to follow it through with some serious drive and discipline. Most wouldn't want to hear that but that's the way it goes, at least for me. I have to take accountability for so many mistakes I have made and diet (not programs or scams like that, HOW, AND WHAT WE EAT). Pandemic can't be my excuse forever. Being fat sucks and I need to do better. I will succeed. Being obese has been the worst. If I had any advice, it's not to give up and you have to constantly remind yourself about the benefits and about how things once were and how things will be once you get to that weight goal. It will be worth it!

For context I guess I'm a fashion and art enthusiast. Ripped jeans add more to look at, rather than a more simple straight piece of fabric, it adds some sort of "texture" Sorta like how having a graphic on your t shirt makes it more interesting. Its just done in a different way. Its a more rugged look, sorta like how scars look cool. Also, it CAN give an unspoken impression that you've been a lot of places and done a lot of things. Like when you were a kid, you ripped the knees on your jeans from playing. Just like anything though, it can be overdone. The giant holes are a bit much to me. Some girls wear those to show off some leg I guess. That being said, if you're paying like $300 for ripped jeans, you've probably sniffed too many dollar bills.

I used to be super skinny, so skinny people called me anorexic when I wasn’t. People didn’t want me on their sports teams in school since I didn’t look fit and was always the last one chosen. So I understand the discrimination. Then in sophmroe year, I wanted to gain weight quickly so I drank 4-5 ensure bottles everyday for 3 months. I was so sick of that drink and I still hate it to this day. But I spend 2 years feeling all sluggish from all the weight I gained. Even though my BMI was 18 and I “exercised” daily (PE, but honestly you can hardly call that exercise sometimes). I slowly became actually anorexic, bulimic, developed a compulsive stress eating disorder + addiction, and grew into a ED/super depressive state. Obviously after that I had an excessive exercise routine of 3 hours after each meal (9hrs total) of exercise. After 2 years of mental recovery from all the trauma and 1 year of consistent professional help. As I got happier, I started to naturally think more positively, I started to actually feel different emotions like excitement for once in my life… thorns started to settle into place; life was good and so was my mental health. Plus I adopted a kitten XD. Bc I was happy, I had the motivation to go on a super strict low sugar, low processed food diet and started actually exercising in a way where I actually enjoyed what I did. I’d also eat the traditional way and do hw the traditional way. Eating without phones, music, and even thoughts. Just focusing on the food in front of me. No eating or snacking while doing hw. It helps your brain to differentiate when to eat and when to not eat. Anyways I grew skinnier and feel more strong, flexible, and healthy. I’m actually doing exercise(planned movement of the body) and not physical activity (no planned activity, just the movement of your body). I’m also a kinesiology major so that’s literally what I study, the movement of the body and how it affects us. Ofc to each their own, if your happy in your body then good for you! If you’re confident and have good mental health, I’m sure you wouldn’t be applying yourself to situations that don’t pertain to you online such as people being proud of going from fat to fit. I honestly doubt that 30% of the US is under the special exception category. Staying fit is so much more than just exercising bc even when I was exercising a lot, I wasn’t loosing much. You need to have good mental health, stress/anxiety coping mechanisms, good sleep, good diet, TIME, consistent exercise (150min/week (2 day strength training, 2 flexibility, 2 cardio), and the ability to relax. Being healthy and skinny is a lot of work and I don’t think people actually think that much about it. Bc I didn’t- I was immature, young, and had poor mental health. I used to fall under the disability benefits category will full marks on the DSM-5 for MDD, have GAD, OCD, etc.

I work from home, and hardly ever do exercise. Neither your work or environment is an excuse to being fat. Just eat your adecuate # of calories and you won't gain weight. Just in case I need to point the obvious: Not being fat does not mean being healthy.

Some "fun" stories :) I remember this one popular girl(the bully type) in middle school who was 4x the size of the average student, like you are a way bigger target for bullying.(no pun intended) 2nd story: later in middle school, I had a friend who was around the same size as me, and she went to the gym ONLY ONCE and she said "look at me now" like bro, you didn't change🤨 3rd: last year of middle school(I think), two of my "friends" would always point out how I'm fat, but my female friend, around 3/3.3x my size, would say "I'm curvy" and "I'm NOT FAT!" And when my guy friend pointed out how she is fat, she would hit him or just deny being fat

I’m sick of the fact that only plus sized people can complain about how people treat them. Like, it’s not like petit, thin people don’t get randomly plucked up by strangers. It’s not like I’ve been asked if I can shop in the kids department so often by strangers, that I can pretty much predict when that’s gonna happen now. It’s not like doctors accused me of having an eating disorder when I lost a bunch of weight due to what I now know is Crohn’s disease, and literally every time I meet a new person they have to make a big deal about how small I am, and it’s not like they go out of their way to ask me things like ‘how much do holy weigh’ or ‘do people have to open doors for you because you’re so little?’ But when we complain we get ‘but you’re cute and fit the ideals of society!’ I could care less. I want to set boundaries and not have people tell me how to feel about how I’m treated!

Grocery shopping doesn't have to be expensive. It's cheaper than eating out. You can't spend all your money on high end fruit, you have to prioritize meats, eggs, and other protein/fat sources. Spend a little on vegetables and fruit, but that won't be the bulk of your meals. How much you spend grocery shopping varies, but that would be much less than if you at out and ordered a $5 meal everytime. ($5 x 3 times a day = $15. $15 x 30 days a month is $450.) You can definitely grocery shop for the month on less than $450 a month. And $450 is on the low end for eating out expenses because let's face it, people usually spend more than $5 on a meal at McDonalds.

26:11 as a fat person i can say i wouldn't honestly be offended if he said that being fat is bad for your health and stuff, it is just facts, as long as he isn't saying stuff like calling people ugly or stuff like that, saying a few harsh words about how it's bad for your health is fine. i understand that all, im currently trying to lose weight so that i can be healthier, i lost 15 kg, i was 89 kg and im 74 kg now. just for info im 158 cm tall so i have to lose around 20 more kg to be at a normal weight.

20:05 @connorpugs just get a blender (32 oz vitamix is awesome) and make your own green drinks by buying fruits/vegetables, washing them, tossing them into the blender with a non-dairy milk and/or water, and blending. They're so much cheaper than the store-bought ones, and bc you choose the ingredients, you can skip on all the sus stuff and make it suit your tastes. The blender can be kinda expensive, esp if it's a vitamix blender, but it's seriously worth it as a long-term investment into your health. My family has had a vitamix for around 7 years now, and it still works great. I use it almost everyday to make smoothies and protein shakes.

Damn it! I liked the skinny guy till the end, where he says “There are fat people faster than you, there are fat people healthier than the average person. So weight believe it or not actually severely affects your internal organs. Additional unnecessary weight on organs makes their job that much harder and when your looking at a person that has been fat the majority of their life… your looking at someone that is going to have a shorter lifespan comparatively to if they’d lived their ideal healthy weight. “Healthy” indicating that excessive weight isn’t stressing your internal organs out. Your organs run and run but how hard would it be for you to run while carrying 20 extra pounds in your hands. You won’t make it as far as you would have if you didn’t have to carry the extra weight. Likewise your organs won’t go as far either, at some point they’ll be out of breath and ready to stop… You’ll only make it shorter adding excessive weight long term. I believe in you, you can do it and it’s not fat phobic. Actually fuck fat phobia, stop being pussies about weight. I had my own issues too, sometimes people fuck with me about it. But you know what I did? I grew the fuck up, kicked a little ass, got some respect and grew tougher skin. I can’t wait till this time of woke/fakeasspeople/virtuesignaling/victimmentality/offended/racist/weakpeople/modernidoits/antiwhite/excusemakinggeneration/racistreparations/fat-ecouragement/Disney/teaching5yearoldsaboutsexingovernmentfundedschools/Gen-Z… will finally end.

Yessir. That blew me when he said that at the end, too. There's no way he DOESNT feel happier and healthier and will live longer. Most people are just looking for ways to stay complacent and to avoid putting in work. Most people ARE lazy. Especially in the US, that's why the stereotype of "Americans are fat and lazy", is a thing. It's just getting so much worse, especially with "body positivity" which is really only a way for fat people to dismiss the fact that they are harming themselves and shortening their lives. You won't see the same support and acceptance for skinny people, and that's the silver bullet right there. And calling themselves "marginalized" or "oppressed". They are not helping themselves at all. I don't like offending people, but when you ignore facts, you must reap the consequences. But in a few years, when droves of "plus size" people have passed away and all that's left are skinnier people, we will, hopefully, have gone back to the mentality that being healthy is very important, and that being overweight or morbidly obese, is not it. There's actually SEVERAL "body positive" and morbidly obese KZbinrs that have passed away in their 20s-30s pretty recently.
