Can't believe she still has not won an Oscar. Hollywood REALLY doesn't like her. LOL I mean her performance in Fatal Attraction was so phenomenal it should've won her the Oscar no matter who she is against and they gave the Oscar to Cher!! Cher!!!!! She's a talented singer but she only had one facial expression and one facial expression only throughout that entire movie and they gave her an Oscar. LOL Unreal!! And then she just kept losing to other formidable actresses like Jodie Foster, Meryl Streep, Olivia Coleman and etc. and now I guess she's waiting for the Oscar Award for Lifetime Achievement unless they nominate only her for the Best Supporting Actress or Best Actress category and just give her the Oscar because she certainly deserves it more than anyone else.

I don’t even watch it anymore and honestly couldn’t even tell you who the cast is today. And sometimes hits don’t age well. The show, at its best, lampoons current culture. That’s going to change no matter what. True story. I happened upon Glenn Close in an alley after the release of Fatal Attraction. Confusing her with the character, I was afraid. Then, about a month later, I heard her on NPR and the person interviewing her noted that she'd cut her hair. Ms. Close explained that she did so because people were afraid of her in curls, confusing her with Alex. Sorry 'bout that, Ms. Close. I'm an idiot.

I remember watching this live at my dorm at Boston College. I was in group therapy at the time as well. This sketch totally nails the complete uselessness of group therapy.
@shirleyrombough81734 жыл бұрын
Ernest Kinas - I am sorry you had such a bad experience with group therapy. If led by a competent therapist it is really effective. The therapist never asks, "So how does that make you feel, Liz?" That is so ridiculous.
@shirleyrombough81734 жыл бұрын
Real group therapy is not like that at all. But enough lousy group therapists are just like this. "So your husband's mistress killed your daughter. How does that make you feel?"
@Mikinaak20234 жыл бұрын
You had a lousy therapist. I went to group therapy and there was no warm and fuzzies. It was hard core work and painful. But the growth was worth it.

Part of the fun of SNL is watching the actors trying not to laugh. 1:54-1:58 she almost cracks up, but she handles it like a pro. Go Glenn...Excellent sketch

I saw this movie in the theaters when I was in elementary school 😰 Back then, parents wanted to see movies and would take kids of any age so that there wasn’t a need for a babysitter. Spent 90% of the film with my mom’s hands covering my eyes. In the 80s, kids were legit exposed to absolutely everything 🥴

Matthew Shea - You could watch it again? Ye gads, I could almost get through it once. Yikes- bunny boiling. The thing I hated about this movie is that it got us to root for the killing of the bunny boiler. I hated that in myself. But the Oscar really should have gone to Glen Close. An absolutely stellar performance
