Fatal Head-On Crash in Rialto

LOCATION: West Valley Blvd. East of South Cactus Ave.

On August 23rd. 2024, at about 9:22 PM, Rialto PD and Rialto Fire Department responded to a traffic collision on West Valley Boulevard, East of South Cactus Avenue.
Officers located a head-on collision involving a Nissan Cube and a Chevy Pickup with three patients.
Two occupants were transported, and one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The cause of the fatal collision is under investigation by the Rialto Police Department.
No other information was provided at the scene.

Drove 24/7 Los Angeles freeways for Jet Delivery in the mid- seventies, a million miles. NEVER saw anything like this, EVER. Then returning a rental early a.m. to ONtario airport in 2017 full moon 3;45 a.m. car stopped straddling the HOV/fast lane, smashed INTO by another car a minute later, THEN a small truck At least two killed. CHP on site immediately, I proceeded on my way to return the car early, glad I left elbow room time. This is insane.

Here's a lesson or two for all you new developed crew...Never drive while hitting the hard liquor,... nor too many 'Beers', especially not Wine of any kind....Highway to hell is might where you end up......Wouldn't want to take the chance.... You will wake up in County jail or juvenile hall awaiting a very serious offense... Do you really want this???? Some will.... Example one of my very close dudes actually hit someone while driving drunk and they perished... he did his time plus rehab but mentally never got over it.... Yeah, some will and some wont.

@@MarksArk2 that's incredibly useful and fun to drive with tons of head room, leg room also it's cheap on insurance because it's considered a station wagon because of the rear door opens sideways etc..yup the styling is definitely unique that's for sure..the position of the door hinges makes a huge difference with insurance..hatchback has hinges on top and tailgates have hinges on the bottom of the door etc each have different cost with insurance..the side location making it a station wagon is the cheapest for insurance..

@MarksArk2 very sad to hear that.. I have very bad chronic back pain. Makes everything so difficult. Most people have zero idea about how hard it is for people to live with any kind of chronic pain. I am stuck for now as my doctors walk out the door while I am still asking questions and I am afraid of the treatment making me worse because they have not gained my confidence. Right now I'm constantly on percocet and I guess I will just wait until I can't live with the pain anymore. Please tell me about your pain if you want to...
