Well that’s what I call a great day-a coffee to decide which direction to head-I must admit I did not think there was enough about cycling I would enjoy-never dreamed of the nomadic possibilities, the backwoods trails can be magical ..love the forests🍃

You're the man foresty! Looks like you had a rad trip. I think these short videos are really great and definitely entertaining. The long videos will probably always be the pinnacle for me but I really enjoy these "act" style vids too. You keep doing you man, you're an inspiration!

If you don’t see Sasquatch we can assume there are not any, probably anywhere. You really didn’t have to show us those huckleberries, ha ha. I am in Florida and am Hungry Horse, Montana huckleberry ice cream hungry and it’s hot down here. Looking forward to more.

Waiting for you to do more bike touring videos is like waiting for the next Avenger movie to come out...and now that you have two short videos, I was so excited to watch both of them, I forgot to get popcorn for my favorite bike touring videos! Good luck Foresty Forest!! Let me know if you need any cash, I can donate on Fridays, just let me know where.

Do u ride in snow often? Just curious as to why u use a fat bike. Maybe a plus size tire would suit u better
@forestyforest5 жыл бұрын
I did a lot of desert touring. Needed super wide for sand. So I am just using the stuff I have instead of buying something else. I don't find the efficiency that bad, I used to ride 26x2 and I do the same kind of mileage on the fatbike. It cruises pretty good on gravel, i can pick any line i want instead of dodging everything. If i had the money I'd get some lighter 90mm rims. Anyways everyone loves seeing the fatbike when i ride into towns, it is the most social bike I've ever ridden.

Where do you get your maps for planning? Paper or E?

A lot of scanning Google Maps, open street maps, sat views, and USGS topos. But for this ride I just downloaded gpx files from bikepacking.com

such freedom and views where you go are amazing! eemm practical question, where do you shower or how do you clean yourself? that creek could work, if you are not afraid of being cold

Really enjoying this tour. As a viewer from Ireland, do you manage to get good nights sleep when in bear country? I can imagine sounds from outside the tent can be a little unnerving.
@forestyforest5 жыл бұрын
No not really, every noise is scary. You can kind of tell when bears are nearby, because they always poop on the road.

How much money did you bring? This series is awesome, especially that it’s with a fat tire bike!
@forestyforest5 жыл бұрын
Do you mean total spent? I would have to look it up. It was just paying for food. Never paid once for camping.
@buildingfilming5 жыл бұрын
ForestyForest I mean more like how much did you bring to pay for food, not how much you spent but how much you were prepared to spend. If that makes sense.

I'd like to try this if I was young and able. One thing. To do prevent yourself being abrutly introduced to the wilder side of nature with big teeth and sharp paurs, all thing bears, wolfs which would like to eat you. How do you not come up against those things when you wonder inside there natural habitat which is there home and not ours
