The Lion King has access to powerful spells that allow her to create Enforcement Knights, beings that give off the magical responses of humans, but who are also close in form to Heroic Spirits. Her armies are so large and powerful that Sanzang claims that even though King Hassan and Lancelot and his forces said they'd join Chaldea in their assault on the Holy City, they alone wouldn't be enough to beat the Lion King's armies. And we are just talking about Armies here and not Lion King herself. Also her NP is ridiculous

Even worse when you realize he was still stronger even with the sun in full view. He wasn't flexing that he'd cleverly overturned an environmental advantage, he was just telling Gawain he needed to get his eyes checked. Whether the sun shone on them or not never mattered to the outcome, as Gawain wasn't even worthy of having his head taken.

Also, Gawain doesn't realize that if gramps really was being serious, none of the Knights of the Round Table would have survived. Not even Artoria's lance would have saved her.

Mmh...I doubt that. While Hassan is certainly one of the stronger fighters in all Fate universe, Rhongomyniad is something else entirely. I mean, we're talking about a lance that keeps the two sides of the World anchored togheter, but separated, preventing the Age of Gods from coming back once more and that could probably wipe out an entire country without any effort. Still, Hassan is one of my favorite characters and I can't wait to see him in action in the Camelot movie!

@@erinong193 I doubt Presence Concealment would help him against her. The Artoria wielding Rhongomyniad is a Goddess. Simply think that Ozymandias managed to spot him, too late to actually do something to prevent his head from being cut off, but he did all the same. Artoria would sense him long before he even comes close to her.

This is pointless. it's stated that because of the method which grand servants are summoned they're literally on a whole different plane to normal servants, not that they're more powerful just that they're basically undefeatable by normal servants (including Gil). Gawain was screwed as soon as king Hassan showed up

Well at the time we didn't know that. We knew he was powerful and the Hassan who kills Hassans but you have to remember that up until this point the only grand servant we knew about was Solomon and even then we knew very little about Grand Servants so the idea that one would just appear like this is foreign to us the player. Not only that but every other Hassan we have seen so far in this singularity hasn't been able to hold a candle to any of the knights of the round table. So in the player's mind it was unexpected for the First Hassan to show up like he did and essentially match the second most powerful Knight of the round table in combat without our aid. Plus imaginable our surprise at the end of the fight when the First Hassan reveals he has just been playing with Gawain this entire time. We would only learn more later in the series.
