Fran being cute AF is definitely accurate, since egotistical Victor would never settle less than not make his monster the most perfect man. And he did. Only thing really wrong with the monster was that his eyes looked off. Uncanny valley kind of thing. But otherwise, for something made of a patchwork of corpse parts, the monster was truly an Adam.

@@otakudaikun The dream team I have for Fran’s interlude is Fran, Mash, Mordred, Jekyll, Babbage and Altera. Mash, Mordred, Jekyll and Babbage are all Fran’s friends and allies and Babbage knew Victor personally. I fear he’d be very saddened and disappointed by Victor’s growing hatefulness and megalomania. Altera meanwhile would probably sympathize with Fran for being forced to become a monster despite her desire to live peacefully. I’m sure all of them would be glad to support her. It’s also a genuinely feasible team because I have Jekyll, Babbage and Altera and I have multiple friends who could provide Mordred as a Support Servant. I just have to wait for Fran herself.

It's hard to believe how easy it is to fall in love with characters like Fran. Characters who, within the context of their story, are creatures or machines artificially made rather than born with a purpose in mind. Watching them develop feelings and learn about their environment is captivating to say the least. There are so many paths for them: discovering some darkness about human nature, being cherished like an ordinary child, or even a monster forged by neglect and rejection.

Frans Sacrifice actually made me tear up a lot when I watched Apocrypha for the first time. It made me also realize how sad the backstory and life of Frankenstien's monster was. All because Victor didnt understand that his monster would in reality actually have the brain of a newly born child than the intellegence he expected them to have.

So, you sought to recreate God’s formation of man by human means, and you are not satisfied by giving life...to a waifu. Victor Frankenstein can now add “dumbass” to his repertoire of “college dropout,” “neurotic egotist,” and “selfish prick with no regard for consequences.” Depressingly, at least two of those terms also apply to me. Fran was as innocent as a child, and never given a chance to live properly. How sad is it, that hearing her master steel his heart and aid her in a suicide attack because he’s grown to care about her is “the happiest moment of her life.” One part of the Fragments of Chaldea fanfic I particularly enjoyed was Fran being paired with a kind, devoted OC named (pardon, it’s been so long since I last read it,) Anton. He’s a computer whiz initially interested in Female Fujimaru’s counterpart Gabrielle Rutherford, but realizes his feelings for Fran after she sticks by him and protects him from an asshole supervisor. Theirs is a particularly endearing pair. Another reason I’m sad the story ended prematurely. Thank you for the video.

As someone who studied Frankenstein for a course once, I find it interesting that they made Frankenstein's monster here is a girl. It's no secret that Mary Shelley herself had poured all her frustrations against her father who had disowned her when she eloped with Percy Shelley, but what's probably weirder is that the reason she eloped with him was because he resembled the liberal ideals that her own father and mother espoused. Furthermore, she also had some weird incestuous feelings towards her own father as well. These feelings manifested in her book with the Creature and Frankenstein's strange relationship. Frankenstein created the Creature to be the perfect human, and upon doing so, violated the course of Nature. Because of that, Frankenstein, who stole the role Nature had bequeathed to Women, that of creating life, couldn't handle the hideousness of his creation - something that Mary Shelley herself felt when giving birth to her first child. The Creature asking for a wife and someone to love him was because of him being the perfect human, even if everyone else didn't think that way. As the perfect human, he is both strong, agile, and ridiculously tall, and handsome.But he is also incredibly intelligent and emphathic. Having known love and it taken from him, he seeks his creator, asking him, politely, to give him a wife. The creator first promises, then breaks the promise upon realizing that while Creature he first created had learned love, his second Creature might not, and might pass down that disposition to any children they may have, and so before finishing her, he destroys the body. The Creature retaliates by killing Frankenstein's wife, mirroring the fact that Mary Shelley herself felt that she killed her own mother and therefore wanted to take her mother's role as the sole person her father loved. The ending is quite tragic too. Chasing each other to the ends of the world, Frankenstein succumbed to exhaustion and died, while the Creature, having lost his Father, the person who he had this twisted hatred for, a hatred almost akin to lust and love with how much he pined for his creator's attention, jumped off the boat and disappeared, never to be seen again. The fate depiction feels like a mix between Frankenstein's and Mary Shelley herself, which, quite frankly, is probably the most accurate reimagining of the monster I've seen - even if they probably just did it to make another waifu.

He had really poor judgement when to use her noble phantasm I wouldn’t have used it on mordred I would have waited and when I had to I would use a command seal to revive her
