This episode works so well both as a game for the players and as a spectacle for the audience. The players don't know who's infected or not, and neither do we as the audience. The fact that the drama and uncertainty are _real_ makes this better than TV for me.

Joe is a comedic genius and great player. Kelly, in this episode, dialogues like a god, and Jill keeps it real in a way that makes you want to like all three! As much as everyone likes the characters from season 1… Rudy, Will, and Wrath are the characters I would actually invite to dinner! The whole delirium thing is getting resolved, the characters have an epic story arch and you want them to win, there is genuine conflict and interesting problems. As much as DnD has moved to factions as a way to better engage players, and Monty is a faction god, it’s just not as much fun to watch players make no-win choices that always piss some group off. This group makes choices that increase their likability from the audience, moves the plot forward towards an end with no delirium, and gives us closure. It’s amazing!

Eh? 1:05:40 Lucky you make into a super advantage you get to choose between the lower roll or the higher roll. You don't have to take the new roll. Unless it's homebrew by the DM "You choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw."

SPOILERS FOR ENDGAME LORE FROM THE BOOK!!! The book states that the ancient gold dragon Argonath can be resurrected using either the diamond from the castle vaults or a pristine delirium geode. I don't think it says he can't be contaminated by the haze or direct contact with delirium, hard as it may be anyway. I was thinking it would be cool if Argonath was mutated slightly by being resurrected with the delirium geode, but still under the control of those who wield St. Vitruvio's relics.
