I just imagined an amazing description of how Sebastian may do radiant damage with his "sunbeam": Sebastian generates this line of pure vantablack-like color and wherever this black-hole like area is, it bends the light around it absorbing it. The light "flees" from reality around the beam, so the creatures hit are damaged because their energy/matter is converted to light that flees away from them, effectively searing them away and so dealing radiant damage.

@@kyledrier8357Yes that is excactly what I am missing!! I tune in every week to watch a live D&D stream, i actually want all that in there. I am a nerd watching nerds do nerdy stuff, that is being silent and adding stuff up. It gets to be too much of a screenplay with all the editing. For the sake of simplicity, in my opinion get rid of (video)editing during play all together, just add on start sequence and finale and upload the video. (Video) because I follow some other channel where I get reminded of how important audio editing is on a regular basis.

You don't watch a movie and expect to see the blocking tape. You don't listen to music expecting to hear pre-roll of tuning instruments. It's a show. Unfiltered and unedited is an objectively worse product. Why would they do that just to feed the parasocials who feel entitled to seeing "everything"?

It is similar to the shadowfell but everyone who dies immediately goes there.....and it is sort of like a purgatory. Those with faith in the Sacred Flame can see a path of light so they can travel onto their heaven. (The stronger their faith the brighter the light is. And i thonk that heaven is much more of an unknown than in the Forgotten Realms because i dont think anyone knows what the Light is, or what its like when one passes through into the Light). But I'm not quite sure if those without faith are doomed to an eternal existence in the shadowlands or if their souls will inevitably be destroyed by demonic entities who live there (like the shadow demon in Sebastian's mother's sanctum seem in ep14 of dungeons of drakkenheim) or what the relationship between hell and the shadowlands is.

The 1v1 session is ok to push that drama, but since he has 2 sidekicks allowing the others to plays those be an idea. Kinda torn on it as DM and as a player. Think id prefer letting others play sidekicks but let them know its serious drama moment so jokes limited. As a player i would like to watch story unfold and play a minion to give that player their story.

Part of the point of it being a 1v1 is that the other two don't know. Like, they as people literally don't know. From what I have heard they are on an honor system and are not watching these episodes, that way it's a surprise to them when they eventually find out what happened here.
