Very enjoyable discussion. It's the first time I've ever heard a member of the church say scripture is imperfect. Amen! If that message gets out, the Church will regain traction.

Came here after a Buddhist nun talked about this interview. It’s fascinating how father explains the image of “God” but also quoted Buddha nature as a practice. Definitely father is practicing that Buddha nature of promoting and applying loving kindness unconditionally to marginalized and neglected community. Great thank to the questioner who has Buddhist knowledge and assimilating it with father’s experience.

A very profound talk! Today , we should be talking more about “loving kindness and compassion “ in our church and community. Great great talk, thank you!

My favorite theologian...I listened to one of his talks everyday during Covid (and started over again when I couldn't find any new talks). Thank you, so much for making a difference in so many people's lives, including mine.

The story about the supportive father hit me hard. I’m far from a gang member, however I wonder how I could’ve been if my parents were that way. I listen to your podcasts all the time and I love them. Thank you 🧡
