What's Lou Gehrig's disease?
" Otherwise known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
It was first explained by Bell and it was named ALS by Charcot in 1874
ALS, as what the name of the disease tells, it makes the muscle grow weak, small, and etc which degrades the neural system.
In physiopathological view, all the Motor neuron of central nerves get destroyed to the point where muscles cannot move. On the other hand, sensory nerves and the autonomic nerves don't get damaged. So things related to it barely shows
