The man walked from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Then he "fled" into Egypt with Mary and Jesus. Then he came back to Nazareth. This is not the picture of an older man. I would think he was in his late 20's or 30 - in his prime so to speak. He was already an established tradesman. There is a wonderful picture of Joseph holding Jesus up and they are laughing with one another that I saw and have to find. I just love it.

I always saw Joseph as a strapping young man, strong, hard worker. Loving Mary with his whole heart. More so when the angel came to him to love and protect Mary and her unborn. God knew Joseph, and sent this beloved man to protect Mary and the unborn savior 🙏

Veneration of St.Joseph, that I am glad to have seen return in the Church. Funnily enough, I chose Joseph as my Confirmation name in honor of my grandfather, but I feel it was meant to be, St.Joseph has become a huge inspiration for me since then.

One thing I read years ago is that in the husband of Mary selection process eligible mention were told to leave their staffs on the temple steps. St. Joseph's staff burst into bloom as a sign that he was God's choice. That is why images and statues of St. Joseph have his staff with lilies blooming at the top.

I am married to a St Joseph. My husband, the Father of our children has always put his family God first. A Christ centered 👪 family. Look up the history of St Joseph and burying the statue. I would bury the St Joseph statue snd pray that God bless a traveler needing a new home. Whom ever was blessed to live in our home, is where God wanted them to be. Every home we sold was purchased within a day.

Yeh it sounds like the compressor was kicking in too hard when the volume hit a certain level .That can be sorted out quite easily with just testing before with all laughing etc together and adjust accordingly and hey love the laughter !!:)

Before I returned to Christ, I had a son out of wedlock, never known his father. We've talked on this and he says its ok mom, but it saddens me that I denied that to him. Now I know I was wrong, being shameful and not seeing to who his father was. Pray for him. He' 2 sons now, and he' a great father. I think part of it is my downfall... he needs to let his sons know he is there for them. Beautiful son, beautiful grandsons. God blessed me there, and I pray he sees and knows himself the blessings God gives to fathers. Thank you for this episode. St Joseph, pray for us.

I have often thought of St Joseph as 'the Forgotten Saint'. I was glad when the Pope declared last year as the Year of St Joseph. In the Litany of the Saints he appears higher than the Apostles. The first on the Litany is, of course, Our Lady, followed by the Holy Angels. Next come St John the Baptist and St Joseph, then the Apostles. The Birth in Bethlehem was prophesied by the prophet Micah.

Actually, Saint Joseph says one recorded word in Scripture. It's when he circumcises and names the infant Jesus. It's the only word he says that's recorded.

How could Joseph have been old? He had to walk with Mary to Bethleham to Egypt, probably to Martha's home. How could an old man defend Jesus and Mary on these journeys. He also was a techton. I believe he was a young strong man.

Is it possible that God initially assigned a female sex to an embryo but the original sin had muddled the process, making the embryo male? 3. Can the original sin influence the fertilization process? Say for example, God initially wants the Y-chromosome sperm to fertilize with the X-chromosome egg. But the original sin muddles the process, making the X-chromosome sperm win. Is that possible? 4.
