Jimmy Page is a fantastic guitarist, Robert Plant is a great vocalist, and John Bonham is an excellent drummer, but IMHO John Paul Jones is the link that made Led Zeppelin the legendary band that they are. Great song !!! 👏👍🤘✌️

Good grief. I'd forgotten all about this song. Haven't heard it in years. I always liked it, especially Jimmy's guitar work and his sound. I also love the way that after Jimmy, Paul and Jon have flown away on their instrumental part, Robert Plant pulls us back to the song with his 'OOOOOHH YEEEAA!!!'. Love it. Great song. Great reaction. Makes me wonder what other songs I've forgotten about. Best wishes. james:)

John Paul Jones was the 'quiet' one who played away in the background, not grabbing the headlines that the other 3 rightly did. However on this track & video in particular you get an idea of what a fantastic keyboard player he was. He is a superb bass player to as well as songwriter & arranger. Truly the heartbeat of Zeppelin. When Bonham died & they called it a day, they were absolutely correct in saying it would not be Zeppelin without any one of the four.

This angel is one of the best singers on our planet. Do not believe me? Look what other reactionaries, who have already made almost 7 thousand reactions (check my playlist). I invite you to discover this wonderful talented young singer. Please make reaction to Diana Ankudinova - (rarest contralto with polyphonic overtones) I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!! She's now 18 and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English, Spain and Arabic. The covers she performed on that show are very popular on KZbin. Many KZbinrs publish reactions on these performances, which include the ethnic song "River" (in a new musical arrangement), "Blizzard", "Wicked Game", "Human", "Derniere Danse", "Take On Me" and others. Please react to one of Diana's songs and I promise she will surprise you.

Since their concerts were 3 to 4 hours long with no breaks, they did do improv on many songs, more so longer Page solos & Plant adding lyrics from other songs. They didn’t like leaving their families to tour, but they loved performing live.

Lol, thx for “showing up” Larry. Me too, LIVE ZEP!!?! Bet yo ass I’m showing up. Anyone else notice Ethan catching his breath right at the end there..? I’ve always said The Who were The Greatest live Rock Band Ever. BUT..? Led Zeppelin live.., maybe it’s a 1a and a 1b (gotta throw Queen in there too) so a 1c as well. The holy trinity of live British Rock ‘n’ Roll shows. If you spent you’re money on a ticket to see one of these three bands in their prime you would witness unequaled perfection. All #1...., all for different reasons. The Who were explosive, unpredictable noise, anger, joy, full audience participation with each member of the band trying to sonically blow the other 3 clear off the stage. Zep..? Page is an all time Guitar God. If I could play “sloppy?!?” guitar like that I’d be... Jimmy Page? But no one could ever be Jimmy, except for Jimmy. Bonham... Plant..., then there’s Jones doing EVERYTHING on that stage aside from the drums, vocals and guitars. It’s a 3 hour hellish rocking electric blues experience, bright, shiny, dark and a little dangerous. Then there’s Queen, with all the musicianship of both, played much tighter but certainly not ‘scripted’..., and, uhmm.., Freddie Mercury!! Those three bands, Britsh Rock Royalty, the Holy Trinity.

That was pretty awesome! I think I mentioned before that I haven't heard much live Zeppelin, so this is a treat for me. The keyboards really make this song pop...it's such a groovy rhythm! And that guitar solo! Well, we all know how great Jimmy Page is, so not a big surprise there...but still just fantastic to see/hear! For my suggestion, I'm gonna go back to a band you're reacted to before, but not for quite a while...Heart with Magic Man (Live) (kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqSapYmshq1_r9E). Cheers!

How wonderful for the two of you to share such excellent pursuits together! The memories!! FYI, the organ part was inspired by Stevie Wonder's song Superstitious. Also, I don't know if you recognized, but Robert threw in a few lyrics to Gallows Pole near the end (the "hangman, hangman..." part) so perhaps you should look into Gallows Pole, if you haven't already. Another video example of an excellent solo by Jimmy is Heartbreaker from Earls Court (if you do react to it, I suggest you select the 8:13 one from KZbin, not the 9:31 one because the 8:13 is better quality). Then, there is the ultimate video of Jimmy Page guitar solo from Dazed and Confused filmed at Madison Square Garden in 1973. Fair warning, the video is about 28 minutes long but it's like a mini-concert all by itself. Excellent job!

@@adama1189 - first car - interesting times. My first two cars were Ford Cortinas, they were the 4-door sedan version of the Capri, and the Capri was the Ford Europe equivalent of the American Mustang. I don't know which US model the Cortina would translate to. The problem with the Capri was that it was always a sheep in wolf's clothing, a totally gutless "hairdresser's car" with a 1.3 or 1.6 litre engine, not deserving of the styling it aspired to until it was in its final form: a special edition 2.8 litre injection model with wide alloy wheels, leather Recaro seats, finished in British Racing Green... and then they stopped making them! The Cortina was more practical, and the second one I had was a 1982 end-of-production 2-litre model. Still a driver's car with rear-wheel drive, and simple enough to maintain and work on yourself. I have no idea what I would advise these days. Picking other people's brains on their car experience usually worked for me, and the seconndhand car buying guides were always on the money with regard to common faults and what you could be letting yourself in for, so it pays to buy a book or two and do your homework. All probably on the internet today!

@@adama1189 - problem solved - just checked a website on 15 best first car buys in the USA and I didn't like any of them... except for the Mazda Miata. This is the Mazda MX-5 as sold in the US and is one of THE best sports cars in the world, very simple to own and run, and it makes economic sense for a first time US buyer. Can't believe your problem is that simple it can be solved by an MX-5. If I had to lose the MR2 for any reason I would probably replace it with the latest model MX-5 I could afford. Job done, mate! @heliotropezzz3333 жыл бұрын
It's not wholly repetitive. The rhythms change a lot throughout and the focus of each instrument changes. The band members kind of weave in and out of each other all without losing focus or tempo.
