Dear family, I know that your paths in life will have many turns and returns you both are young but have a very old soul, I myself was with the same soulmate for over 17years till their death of Cancer ,this was over 30years ago, you are doing the things that many dream of doing ,know that out of the corner of your eye ,a slightly older 64 year old man is watching over you,not in a creepy way but with the watchful eyes of a friend,Marty

Hi Marty, I am also a fan of these two young gay men. I also have lost two lovers. One when I was 24 y/o and he was 32. He died in a small plane, and he was flying to Canada and back. Along with him was my very best friend (who was a twin), and both twins were gay. I was crushed. I am a young 77 y/o in Pennsylvania USA. We couldn't even imagine the beautiful life these two wonderful Dutch guys are living. I am so thankful for all the progress we have made since the 1960s towards LBGT civil rights. We can never take them for granted. Sorry for rambling on. I just wanted to say I Marty, I understand where you are coming from! And I hope these two beautiful people have nothing but success and happiness.

After a holiday in the sun and then a few days of vacation in Ottawa, coming home and binge watching the last three of your vlogs was “ the icing on the cake”! Thanks so much for allowing us all to be a part of your renovation/life in France/becoming fathers journey! You guys and Simon’s parents are doing an amazing job on your house! I love the your reply comment on one of your videos, you said ( Not sure I have it word for word but you said ….) ….“ it may not be perfect, but we are happy”…what a great philosophy/ approach! Also it is so great to see that you take, as you said…“ mental health breaks” from the renovation work….so important…my partner and I took a break everyday while renovating our current house…even though it was in winter and very cold, we would go for a walk ( though we did not have our dog at that time) or if way too cold, a drive through the country-side to discover the area where we had moved ! Finally, big shout out for the good news regarding the health of the baby!

We started with two rooms and have been renovating slowly as the business (and funds) allow. Currently we have 6 rooms and we're hoping to add another two rooms this year.
