Thank you Fatima. I made this koeksisters and frozen some. I just take them out of freezer the night before and syrup it and it still taste fresh and yummy!!! 💛👍

I made these, and gave some to my neighbour, he came over with one half eaten in his hand and said it was amazing "dis die goed", and said it was better than any he could buy in the area. Thank you Fatima it was really delicious. We kept the frying oil though, and cooked with it... for for a few weeks everything sort of tasted slightly of koeksisters till it was properly cooked through hahahah Also the left over syrup works in coffee and tea instead of sugar... its so so so delicious!!!!!!!
