Hi Paul, nice shave and wunderful flowers. In north-germany are not frozen ... by us shining the Sun. My shave today: Gillette King DE Rasor with Astra blade, Proraso pure Bristol Shaving Brush with silver handle, Proraso white Shaving soap and Tüff Nr. 2 Aftershave with Willow tree extract. Nicely done Paul💈💈 The piccolo did the trick without too much damage. Never tried the Rubie blades, they seem to work good. This shave cream looks nice, should work into a massive lather. Beautiful flowers from Mrs H, thanks. SOTD: PAA Cube, TOBS Grapefruit cream, Heritage Collection C-MON gel badger brush, Mergress XL razor w/Personna Med Prep blade, alum, Lemon witch hazel, Lucky Tiger tonic, Nivea balm and a spray of Terre d'Hermes.....Glorious. Do you find that the handle is too thin? I'm thinking of buying one, but I'm just worried that I won't like a handle that thin because I'm accustomed to using a Muhle R89.

SOTD will be my Gillette slim adjustable 1963 ( I 4 ) because it's my birthday today. Yaqi Mokka brush. Rapira blade. Prorasso Wood and Spice shaving cream. Dwr Cymru. Florida water cologne. Well and truly down that rabbit hole by the looks of it... vintage slim and a black beauty on the way. I got my 02 1969 Black Beauty from RE Rhodium plated a couple of weeks ago, a great razor and really is a beauty. I've used just that since it arrived. Here goes....best shave ever!

Great shave Paul!!! My SOTD is going to be my Wilkinson Sword Sticky with a Wilkinson Sword Classic blade, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Semogue 830, Floids Aftershave and L'oreal Men Expert Birch Sap Balm to seal the deal. MOTD is make your own Sushi, as I bought a bunch of different things to create your own Sushi, and I will cook the rice, and you have at it. Weather here in Florida has finally cooled down, as it finally dropped into the 40's a few days ago, but will shoot back into the 80's tomorrow. Have a wonderful day and stay safe!!!!

Good evening Paul! The flowers are very lovely; thank you Mrs. H! That Fa Tip razor is a gorgeous looking bit of shaving kit. Back to the Gillette Rubie blade...little wonder, as it is a great performer. That first pass was very nice. The sound of your lather being applied is amazing...luxurious. SOTD: 1946/47 Gillette Super Speed loaded with a 1976 Wilkinson Sword Master Chromium blade (8th use). 1960's Williams Tonsorial soaplet/modern Williams Mug soap mix lathered with a That Darn Rob 26 mm Tuxedo synthetic brush. Again, this shaving soap mix impresses. Traditional 3 pass plus pick-up shave. Finished with Thayer's AF SF skin toner and PAA Cad aftershave. The post-shave face feel cause facerbation...is that a sin? lol. BBS doesn't describe the pleasant face feel. PaulH...bring joy to the masses one shave at a time! Thank you for sharing. Good shave Paul. Btw, those numbers (or lines in some cases) are there for quality control purposes. They are used to determine if the sharpening tool on the production line is ready to be replaced.

Just an FYI you have a Fatip head version 1 {aka pre-2017} the newer v2 models are all slightly less aggressive but still on the aggressive side of things. Great video like always !

Hi Paul whilst we are on creams my wife bought me a Brompton Langley Lux and Rich by Danielle. I wondered if you have come across it. I used the cream that was stuck to the lid for a lather test but that didn't go well. This is the first cream or soap I could not build a lather with. I emailed them twice no reply so I phoned them yesterday morning and the lady I spoke to said she would look into it and call me back. Still waiting. Keep well and keep safe regards to you both. P.S. if you have tried this cream I would welcome your opinion.
