So cute! I love making bags. I would've sewn the button loop into the seam when attaching the outside to the lining - then you wouldn't have to worry about that little circle on the inside. ;)

I've always called it "Boxing" the corners.

I'm almost finished w/my 1st attempt @ Kimberly's Sac Bag & am pleased w/the results (so far!). There's minor confusion in the pattern where it says to cut one 1"x5" (g) piece for the button loop but in the actual sewing directions it refers to (g) as 1"x4". I would have appreciated better instruction on attaching the strap thru the hardware as I've never done it before. The pattern instructions don't really look like your's does in the video. I still have enjoyed this process & hopefully will make more. Thanks Fat Quarter Shop!

Where is the pattern?

Sew the Button Loop into the seam when you are attaching the lining to the outer bag, then the sewn part is inside and much cleaner look. It's called Boxed Corners, not gussets. Suggest 1/2 inch seams for the whole bag for strength, 1/4 inch seams can come apart in a purse/bag.

Kim, stop referring to someone as she and her when the person is present and you know their name. It sounds so rude.
