I've had my HDO's for over a month now and never had a problem with the DVR! The only problem I've found is remembering to restart it if you have stopped it for some reason! Lol 🤘😁

Hello, awesome review I had the dom v3 and got the HDO to me they look a bit blurry compared to dom v3. Now the issue I'm having is I'm getting a little bit of vertigo on the HDO i guess is because the screen is closer then the dom v3. Have you had that?

My hd3’s used to skip I think it was because I had an old sd card in there because when I put in a new card it stopped doing it

Have you tried with 1080p 60Hz input from the hdmi output from the furious hdmi adapter ?

Also had blurry corners in hd3 with thin foam, hdos no blur

From memory, another major new feature/upgrade of the HD0's is the enhanced power (more current available) at the RX module bay.. so that some of the new smart modules work fine without cable hacks etc. I plan eventually to fit the head tracker in the other bay, so I don't want to use any of those dual module RX's. So I think modules such as ClearView and RapidFire can work fine in the HD0's without messy power hacks.

I would go with the first Aomway. If you for regular goggles. Or box everyone says the eachine ones.

Sometimes you can get good deals on used Goggles ( like eBay) I bought domV3 for 150€😉

An HDO was on the local market for 400€(hd3 are 320 €+ VAT =380€) and I was initially floored about getting it but the I just fly for fun and couldn't bring myself to fork out 400€ so I'm still using my Att. V3 with external dvr recorder... :s but now I sorta regret not getting them. Sony Oleds... mmmm....

There is a new Fatshark HDO firmware that address skipped frames in DVR recording. Maybe this will fix your issue. :)

I have both HDO and HD3 both are good and recommended if you want the best go for the HDO it will be very difficult to top that up with a new Google.

Go buy the HDO. It's the only thing I use.. However if you wait a little there is a new oled goggle to market I am not allowed to say who but it's going to be really good.

Does anybody know where can I try these, I mean any FPV goggles to be honest. It's really hard to pay for something 500€ + VAT in Europe and not try it first. IPD might not fit me, it they could just be uncomfortable. I'm currently in Berlin, but I travel a lot, if you know where I could try these in Berlin, or anywhere else in Europe please let me know! PS Making great videos, looking forward seeing more of SMD FC builds!

I have the HDOs but Ive tried the HD3s and there is a difference in the OLED screens for me maybe because I use CMOS cameras like the RunCam eagle 2 pro and I really like the extra contrast and detail I can see. I also like the very slightly smaller FOV it's still massive IMO coming from the original Aomway commanders, but for whatever reason I can see the whole screen more clearly with the HDOs. I probably wouldn't upgrade if I already had HD3s but if buying new for the first time I would look for a deal on the HDOs.

Dufour- FPV Dom 3 are still great. I like them better than hd2. edges are clean and crisp. And 16:9 is relaxing to my eyes.

Lots of money for quality product but over 500 bucks is still over the top. Like you said we pay for the after service more than the goggles!! But what if your goggles don't have any problems?? Will we feel like we have been cash raped? Something has to give with the price of these goggles. I may be over the top here but man $500 could buy you a small African country. Come on Fat Shark :(

Hey ppl are starting to pay 1000 for cell phones. Fatshark sees this like everything else. But i do belive its the screens that are the price in most these goggles. The better the screen the higher the price. But like everything else. If you dont buy (meaning us as the ppl using them) the price goes down or they would go out of business.

lol i say the same thing. we as a community should be smarter but most reviews are shills for products and brands. they dont see it yet but they have cut growth down alot setting the price to get in so high. 500 you can get a 4k tv and game system and cause you wont need drone stuff games parents just go for more use option most grown up will.

These FPV products have a tiny market. Mass production in the million+ units area makes other electronics look cheap. Same with automobiles.. they're amazing value with their mass produced pricing.

lol no battery wow seen to many mods needed to fix issues they should have for price they call for. this is why we can't really grow the gear thats cool is way to high priced you can get killer phone for less so ppl just stay with that. lol also the same ppl to hype them got rules turned hard so next year flying is going to be hard
