I was on Lipitor for 5 years which helped with my cholesterol, but then I started taking an Omega 7 supplement. My results were spectacular! After only four months my LDL dropped to 71 and Triglycerides dropped to 113. I buy the Life Extension brand via Amazon. It has 420 mg of Provinal, which equals 210 mg of palmitoleic acid.

Monsanto's soybeans slow down the progression of Omega 3 Disease in fish. But at what price? The newer MON87705 soybean (only 300,000,000 tons last year) adds the cp4 epsps glyphosate tolerant gene to the fatb1-A and fad2-1A fat-manipulation genes. This is Monsanto's answer to Ethoxyquin (they supposedly sold the patent).

This is AWESOME! So, I have a question for a possible future video. I know Magnesium is amazing for so many different Heath benefits. It’s flavor really isn’t my thing when taken as cream of Tartar. Have you heard of or do you know anything about Redmond Clay? Most people can’t stand the flavor, but it doesn’t bother me when mixed with a larger amount of water and I’ve read many claims that it’s good for gut health. I’m curious because I love the science behind your information. Thanks again for all your awesome info!

Try a product by Natural Vitality called "CALM". It's available in many flavors, and few people that I know (I sell it in a health food store) have complained about the taste. One of the best things about it is that it acts very fast in the body and you can tell if you are actually magnesium deficient much better than if you take it in capsule (or other) form.

I would not say that apoptosis is 'premature' cell death - it is _programed_ cell death and is often utilized by your immune system to prevent cancerous cells from developing. All cells die by apoptosis unless they are lysed by viruses or become cancerous. I don't know if preventing a cell that has been instructed to self destruct by the immune system is a great idea...there is usually a reason apoptosis occurs and the pancreas can create more ß-cells.

Thomas, is fructose ketogenic if the body can't use it and converts it directly to VLDL? Can you do a video about that?
@MarmaladeINFP3 жыл бұрын
Fructose is an odd duck. It does act differently than glucose. I've never heard of any research indicating it is ketogenic, though. It's still a carb. Still, there are some interesting aspects of it. In the short term, fructose suppresses mTOR. But, over longer periods of consumption, it does the opposite in upregulating mTOR. And, worse still, the evidence shows that fructose is the main driver of metabolic syndrome. This is because it is lipogenic and, on a high-carb diet, obesogenic. See: Yu Hue et al, Fructose and glucose can regulate mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 and lipogenic gene expression via distinct pathways

Hang on....! apoptosis is a process of "program cell death" by the cell. we want this to happen as this is a regulatory system to keep unhealthy cells around....also, although cod fish, may have O7, it has one of the highest insulinogenic proteins around....meaning it will require more insulin secretion than even red meat....! -Yes, Cod fish contains O7, but the amounts are so small that the high proteins will offset any benefit with the insulin secretion. The whole purpose of the therapeutic ketogenic diet is to keep insulin down....in order to maximise ketones and not cause damage with pro-inflammatory cytokines. Why not pick....mackerel, herrings, sardines....? ---a much better choice!

Hey Thomas! First off, you are a huge inspiration and motivation for me. With that out of the way, it is down to business. I am a young (19) guy from Denmark. I am currently working out and changing my lifestyle, because I want to feel better about myself. In Denmark our school systems is a bit diffrent but next year is the last year for me, before university. Instead of going straight to uni, I want to enlist for basic training in the military. HERE IS MY PROBLEM. In order to complete the training I'll have to run. The lower end is 2.4K in MAX 12min. (This I can do). The high end is closer to 2.8K in again less than 12min. I don't like running, but recently I've been doing it, since I need to work on my cardio. My fear stems from the fact that I don't want to look like, or feel like "a runner". I'm more inspired by people like you. Q1: First off, what is the best way to train for something like this? Q2: And how will the fat / energi burning occur during these "prolonged sprints"? Foot Note: I just ask because I like knowing what is going on. Anyone can fast, or run, or lift weights, but knowing is actually happening is more rare. Anyway, keep up the good work, love your vids :D

What about mercury? I love fish but the evidence of mercury and plastics also other poisons fish consume by living in an increasingly polluted ocean are overwhelming, fish are contaminated. Doesn't matter where the fish swim re the country. We have polluted and continue to pollute our waters, even farmed fish and the way they're being bred are creating an even bigger problem and contaminating wild fish and that's on top of what we as humans are doing to this planet. There's enough info out there if people want to know what they're consuming. I was shocked. This isn't woo woo it's factual info kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIXXpXacj9h8mpo
