3:58 Context for people who missed the original stream. The game automatically maps the d-pad to adjusting radio frequency. Fauna, being the gamer Kirin that she is, was using the dpad instead of analog sticks to move, so when she entered a room with a frequency input option, was stuck in place adjusting the frequency with her dpad instead of moving her character.

One of the saddest things about this game is that Elster probably didn't even really love Ariane. Ariane didn't read the warnings she was given about LSTR units, and so did everything she wasn't supposed to and unwittingly caused the resurfacing of Elster's gestalt memories, the memories of the Vinetan soldier that the LSTR series of replika was based off of. In one of the sequences of flashing images before the fake ending, you can see the full version of the damaged photo of Alina Seo that Elster had when she was first at Sierpinski. The full photo shows another woman with Alina, a woman that looks a exactly like a gestalt version of Elster (The leading theory is that this is Lilith Itou, either the Itou sister's mother or an older ancestor, but that's besides the point right now.) Some of the other images in that sequence hint at a deep relationship between Alina and Lilith, potentially even romantic. At the end of the game you can read the letter that Ariane recieves from her mother saying that she and Alina look almost identical, like they could be twins. So, on the penrose, Ariane starts awakening Lilith's memories within Elster, and Elster sees someone that looks just like the woman that Lilith had a relationship with in her life, and just starts projecting Lilith's feelings for Alina onto Ariane...

I’ve thought this sometimes too, but ultimately I think love is a lot more complicated that. Elster is more than a scan of a person’s brain and that’s why all of the files on the Replikants constantly stress that everything behavioral about them from the original scan can literally deteriorate and diverge their desired path the moment new contextual situations play out. I think her Gestalt memories could definitely be a building block in there for her affection, but the time she spent with Ariane on the Penrose was Elster’s.

On the contrary, It's implied Elster has become her own being instead of simply recovering Lilith's memories, even moreso when Persona Degradation is simply the Nation's way of saying 'we do not want our disposable workforce gaining independence' (reinforced in the 1.2 update) Ariane and Elster are their own person, just like their bond is. Alina and Lilith could also be interpreted as 'past incarnations' of the two. Meaning that no matter the era (war on Vineta or the suicide mission they were sentenced to on the Penrose), the two will always find a way to be together, even if it's for one final moment before stepping into the dark as one if you get the Promise ending. The only one I'd say for sure is the actual definitive and good ending out of the rest since those involve the loops either restarting (Balance) or Elster denying the promise once again (Coward and Artifact endings).
