I did not know about the tech with PRC out of super or manipulating Mix Gravity. Great guide. I also gotta say that after the buffs he's gotten overtime, we are well past the point where Faust is Laust. His kit is a thing of beauty now.

You can also employ the top teleport as a way to avoid most supers without burning meter

14:35 discovered this on my own and ever since when i see i have full meter i just try to put the enemy in the corner(optional) and then do this with a upper teleport because they cant see shit let alone faust falling from the sky

If I were to guess, and I wasnt playing around then just from what I've read/listened too, I'd guess because in the last ones he could only have one thing out at a time which maybe made its more contained in expectations? And now he's not strong so it's w/e Honestly probably tho it's just cause silly bag man LOL xD

@@NuggyJones My honest guess is due to the RNG mechanic being more subdued. It's a huge part of his kit don't get me wrong, but it's not inherently as strong from a first glace. Not to mention, a lot of items can also hurt Faust, so it's a risk/reward thing. If you look at Hero in Smash Ultimate (as much as I love the charatcer) there are some abilties with the RNG that can just wreck you instantly. Faust's stuff is a lot more subduded in comparison. But who knows, I also like rng mechanics and Zoners so I might just be the devil lmao.

Okey I WILL learn how to do reversal super fast and always at will. I just bought game and what to give a shot to Faust and motion input for his reversal super(wheelchair thing) is threatening If somebody is intrested I am currently on 3d floor. First I started playing I was on 5th with Nago, but something was wrong when I was playing him and I desided to switch to goofy doctor. Realy enjoy his mostly easy motion inputs and gameplay, but got streak of bad games while learning and... Got to floor 3 :)

11:18 as far as you know, does this combo for the midair charged dust state still work? Ive been giving it a shot in training and can get dust -> heavy -> jump -> heavy, but then the second dust always seems to miss as the character is too far away.

@@MMOToaster the normal combo i use is (using xbox buttons cuz im too dumb to write it out the way u did) B, B, A (to bounce them back to the wall), immediately do right B and mix mix mix and that'll wallbreak idk if its more dmging but its what i do

This Game just came out for Xbox game pass about a month ago as well as BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle I played Blazeblue for about a month and 100% it so now I'm giving guilty gear a shot. I mained Teddie in BlazBlue he was my favorite by far and my best character. So going into guilty gear I wanted a character who was as close to Teddie as I can get and after trying couple diff character I got 2 this dude Faust and saw he has items too just like teddie in BlazBlue so I think this is who imma main for now atleast. He's pretty fun to play with. The two games are very different in speed and gameplay wise and there are some things I've seen in guilty gear that i wish was in BlazBlue and vice versa but if anyone can lmk if I picked the right character with Faust for what I'm looking for that would be awesome or if there's another character i dont know about that is more like Teddie somehow
