Genuinely been looking at these for the last few months as my first power meter for the road but never new wether they were the right ones to get. This is perfect, thank you.

I have the same pedals they were great but then encountered issues after about 12-15 months. They had been running perfect but then the readings went off and the L/R distribution was off. So logged a case and in the end they sent me left spindle and issue was then resolved. I agree with your comments regarding the product. Very good product

Nice 👍 completely agree. I think Liz will end up with some if she keeps the TT riding up so I don’t have to keep swapping her crank arm etc 👍

Good honest review, Dan. Brilliant. I don't currently train on power, but want to in the future, and this review was great, thanks. You've gone tubeless - and seen some punctures. I'm sure that could be a good topic for a vlog (I have read that tubeless on Road bikes isn't quite there yet as the pressures are too high). 👍

Thanks Alex! It’s been up and down with tubeless that’s for sure 😂

I got the UNO start of last year. That one was faulty and gave erratic readings way off my tacx. Favero customer service first class shipped me a new one. That one as performed flawlessly. Easy to swap on bike. I'm still on the original cleats and have to admit I do prefer SPD cleats. Will take your tip can get the proper look cleats next...

very good, enthusiastic review. Assioma should definitely give you at least a pair of DUOs gratis! [ETA] I'm pretty sure the pedals you have here are the Look pedals since they didn't do (axles for) Shimano at the time. It would be interesting to get your take on the Shimano versions if you've changed over to Shimano pedals and cleats in the meantime (I'll go and look, no pun)
@TriathlonDan Жыл бұрын
Haha thanks! Favero did give me a discount, but it's been a hard no since then. I haven't tested the Shimano variants, but I have now transferred these into MTB pedals and they work great

No problem with mine whatsoever - they have been very reliable and durable as you state. Also had a left crank only from 4iiii, never had a problem with it either (only downside is battery life but if there is no power during a ride, just make up a number :)) - so for me experience with power meter has been grand and a very good tool to improve on the bike so would recommend as well

I bought a set of favera pedals after messing around for 4 years with Garmin vector 1,2 and 3s.... They're reliable and very user friendly, like you my only gripe is entering the pedals can be a little tricky, other than that, they have been faultless...
@TriathlonDan3 жыл бұрын
Corrr that sounds like a frustrating journey. I borrowed some 2’s once but didn’t use them for very long. Reliability is the key isn’t it, yes I find the Look cleats work fine, I’ve loosened off the tension to aid clipping in on TT’s etc 👍
