Regarding the save feature in old games: some games had a battery backup in the cartridge to allow "saving". It changed from game to game. On the original NES was rare but both Zelda games on the console allowed you to save. It's the same way the gameboy pokemon games saved your progress.On SNES it became less rare but still not the standard, I had "TMNT turtles in time" and it doesn't save any progress.

The season they killed him and they way they killed him made me actually depressed out of my mind. I know it was a fake character in a TV show but the death still resonates with me today.
