Great picks Rosetta, a few of these I have to check out now. Get em on my 'must watch list.' I feel about the same way with my list as you do, feelings change on these things all the time, I'd likely swap 2-3 of my picks off the bat if I made that vid today. 0:30 dude, LoL wow, just......wow. 🤣

I'm not a western fan either, but I really like High Plains Drifter with Clint Eastwood, a movie that straddles the line between western and horror. Wes Craven's The Serpent and The Rainbow is my favorite horror movie. Lethal Weapon is my favorite action movie. Enemy Mine (1985) is an underrated sci fi gem.

If you uploaded videos, I woulda tagged you too. Enemy Mine is highly underrated, have the LD of it. Serpent & Rainbow is intense, very good choice. High Plains Drifter is good, Clint had a number of decent westerns, just not my cup of tea.

Watched your video - you have quite the interesting set up there! Also I'm old school, but there are some formats I'm not totally familiar with either. Let's see though....the Shining I've watched....it was a little above average....not amazing as I kept hearing how others saw it. I loved the score and the visuals for sure. You mentioned Wizards, which I have not seen, but have seen Fritz the Cat (1972) from Bakshi. Also, I did see Runaway Train (1985). I love the camerawork and practical effects of the movie. Trevor Jones' early musical score for the film had a unique take as well. Unfortunately I just couldn't back myself behind the main characters....that disappointed me. Feel free to give me your take.

Thanks, the setup is a prop obviously but it's fun. Too bad you couldn't get into Runaway Train, I found it epic myself. Check out Wizards if you like cartoons from that era, it's solid. The Shining... it's got a lot going on. Sit down and watch it ten times, and you'll walk away with 10 different takes on it. Is it all about Native American burial grounds getting revenge? Did Jack m*lest his son and cause the trauma? Was Jack hallucinating the entire experience? There's good evidence for all those takes, and then there's the extreme "Kubrick faked the moon landing and told us about it in The Shining!" nutters... For a horror film, it's depth is surprising. Good to meet, looking forward to chatting on one or two of your videos :)

Awesome picks-all I have to say is that if that's your normal setup all the time, it's damn bonkers lol also thanks for tagging me to do this. It might be awhile before I get to it, but I'll for sure work on it when I can soon.

@@rosettareviews6531 Have you ever sat at your setup and watch three movies at once and play c-64 or the 2600 or whatever the hell console that is on the main screen lol I think it would be an over stimulating experience lol

@@cinemaslayerreviews4130 its a Coleco ADAM, the computer version of the ColecoVision. I do play it sometimes while watching old movies, it is nostalgia overload when it all aligns properly :D
