Yes the Camille rose hair milks are life savers for the up keep for wash and go’s. Cantù I will revisit, I use to use it when I did my big chop 1 year ago

Milks for me are a hit or miss. I appreciate you posting this because I'm taking notes on types of uses for the milk like wash n go and oil content. I can't treat certain milks like leave in or else I will have very dry hair.

The Pomegranate Pear hair milk from Shescentit is really good. And the Oyin handmade Hair dew is labeled as a "leave in lotion" but could very well be used as a hair milk.

We have almost all the same favorite hair milks! The only difference is I have not tried the Curl Origin one but I’m in the love with the Shescentit pomegranate pear hair milk. She is the runner up for my Curl love. TFS!

The NLS is really good. Very moisturizing and makes my hair really soft. Likes the Camille rose just wish it had a pump. I’ll look for some of the others to try for my very thick and sometimes drying hair

CR Curl love has been my fav for years but I recently tried to repurchase and I noticed the contents in the bottle were white not the off yellow color that I’m used to 🧐 I checked everywhere and they are all the same. I was able to find the original at a Walmart on my way out of town. So I grabbed 3 bottles. I believe the formula has changed smh

I thought at one time it had coconut oil in it but I had got one them sample packs and I didn't see the word coconut oil in the ingredient list.

Great video! Very informative. I’ve tried everything except the Curl Origin, CR Curl Fresh and the Cantù. Right now, I prefer hair milks over most leave-in conditioners that I’ve tried. Decades ago, when I use to rock a Jheri curl, I remember using curl moisturizers, lotions and activators from Care Free Curl. I am eager and curious to see if the Cantù hair lotion will give me the moisture that my hair needs- I’m mostly gray. Luv CR Curl Love. Just finished my NLS Avocado moisturizer-I like it. Thx for all that you do.

Which of the hair milks do you use to re-twist . or if any. I usually use the same cream that I started my twist with. I feel the milks would be better for re twisting And for a ponytail instead of using gels. Thank you!

I don't usually retwist anymore. When I did refresh a twist out, I would use the Camille Rose Fresh Curl because it is moisturizing, plus has a little hold. But I think any of the hair milks will work just as well. Now, I only retwist if I'm trying to elongate my hair. Hope this helps.

Have you tried Kinky Tresses Hair Milk? I didn’t like it at first but a couple of days later when I took out my twists out my hair was super soft

I do like it, but I've only used it as a leave-in on wet hair. I have not used it as a milk on dry hair to moisturize so I did not add it to this list of favorites. I need to test it out more. Thanks for the question and for tuning in.
