I will be 20 months with sisterlocks on the 10th of June. I recently added lemongrass and peppermint oil to my rose water. My hair tends to get dry from time to time. Your hair looks great boo!

Hey!!! I have 16 months sisterlocks that I self maintain due to the the consultant shortage in Hawaii. I am my own loctician so im still braiding and banding for the foreseeable future because I don't want to mess anything up. The only things I use are the peculiar roots cucumber aloe refreshing spray and the melanin magic premium hair oil. Those are my staples right now and will be for the foreseeable future.

I have sisterlocks and I'm just shy of 2 yrs in. I like Alakay Natural products. I use the leave in conditioner and the mousse when I do braidouts. I also use Dr. Locs products. I use a diluted solution of Dr. Bronner's pure castle soap as my clarifying shampoo and just started following up with Carol's Daughter Wash Day Delight shampoo. Only used it once and so far so good. The smell is awesome.

Great video! Your hair recovered nicely from the postpartum shedding. I’m 6 months postpartum and just stopped shedding finally and my edges and hair look/feel thinner 😢 about how long would you say before your hair started growing back normally? Was your hair loss only add the hairline or did you also lose volume?
