Boba in the The Book of Boba is much closer to the idiot Boba we got in Return of the Jedi. His presence in The Mandalorian was much closer to the scary Boba in Empire Strikes Back. But who knows, maybe in a later season of Book of Boba they give reason why he died so easily. I'd like to imagine that while he was a guest partying at Jabba's palace, he was stoned on spice and partied like champ, therefore his coordinated thought and attack was off when flew away to battle Luke.

Fett was always my favorite character. I can only assume his reason for being a bit sluggish in the fight was from drinking too much Jawa juice with Jabba and being a little tipsy. Of course not to mention, it was in the script and screenplay lol. I was always disappointed that he fell into the sarlaac, but years and years later we got to see him escape it and watch him fight like the badass that he always was meant to be!
