I think my 2017 favourites are A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman, The Circle by Dave Eggers, Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia, and Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. I've been meaning to read "Illuminae." I've also been sick to start off the year. Plus dealing with the nightmare of frozen/broken water pipes. I've been too exhausted to read. I've tried over and over and my brain is seems as frozen as the ground. I wonder if a book like this, with a lot pictures and the unconventional format would be easier to absorb right now? I have to remember to check the library!

Also, the whole world has read and loves the VE Schwab book/series - except me! I don't think I have heard one negative review, yet. I'm sure there are some. But all the ones I've seen (and not by deliberate searching, just that they happen to come up in a video) are nothing but raves.
