Ive done this but instead of dropping a cup at a time I used a a 3rd of a cup...with the smaller bloobs there was more definition of the colors.... It is a cool cake

I've been doing this cake for over 50 years. I'd like to little kids help with it everybody gets a teaspoon and they take one turn at a time. They love it It keeps your attention and later they get to eat it. Great way to keep them entertained. Even teenagers will do it if you let them put on the music they want. And they laugh over it too. There are some more creative with color and mixing. Lolololol this is so much fun! TY Kristen Many more get to enjoy this.

I think you could either use smaller “dumps” or maybe swirl your cake mix a bit to have more colors per cake square.

If you make the cake the way you did it gets really pretty if you take a toothpick or fork and mix it up you get a real nice effect all over

It is very difficult to figure out what size instant pudding is being use. Ya'll need to say in the video if 3oz or 6oz. I don't usually use instant pudding, but this dessert should be great for Easter. Please, what oz box of instant pudding?

Yes, equal substitution ~ I've done this many times w/ cake mixes, & you can use all kinds of different liquids ~ orange juice or lemonade for orange or lemon cake, coffee for coffee cake (streusel topping good on that one), even did one w/ margarita mix, lime zest, & pink salt sprinkles!

Should have used a butter knife or big skewer to run it through the batter to kind of mix the colors together before baking. It would have swirled the colors better. (For when you cut it later to get a piece) None the less still cute! 🐰🌷

You can use plant based milk for pudding and they make a non dairy whip topping that is called coco whip by so delicious brand, hopes this helps

I’m lactose intolerance also they sell lactate tablets you can take if you want to eat anything dairy like cake or ice cream and they work well.. I use them if I feel like having dairy.. hope this helps!!

A thought....wonder what it would taste like if you added flavoring to each bowl of cake mix??? Maybe strawberry (or cherry) for the pink. One could be vanilla. One orange and whatever you have on hand. I actually have a red velvet flavoring that is colorless. What do you think??
