My opinion: This is his best work since MMLP2. I agree that it lacked a central theme, but I think that possibly made it better. When album's tend to have a certain style throughout, a lot end up being displeased. With 17 songs, I think that there was something for everyone on the project. Lyrical onslaughts, highly conceptual songs, new age beats and features, and upbeat and fun songs. I also think that Eminem's own hooks were pretty good on this album. As it stands, this album is one of my favorites from Slim.

Marsh was the first song I fav'd off the album despite loving so many more. Particularly Lock it up because of the vibe. Ed Sheeran joint is getting a lot of replay because I find it so fun and laidback. Darkness had the message that hits home, Yah Yah, I will, You gon learn got that flex session going on and straight bars. Godzilla was the showing off. dd dd point is when you’re into an artist you’re going to listen to their songs more than once so any Em fan ought to know this n enjoy his lyrics. Also FYI half the joy of rap (by decent rappers, non of that’s mumble crap) is catching bars. I always notice deeper meanings when listening to the songs again, keeps the music fresh IMO
