I’m loving the new eyeshadow quads as I have purchased two of them so far. I like some other lipsticks, but the BLUSH is OUTSTANDING. I usually have trouble finding a foundation match in drugstore brands in particular but I don’t think I’m alone there. The color stay long just does not work for me. The candid foundation in the tube that’s a lighter formula seems to be a better match as they have a fair cool color without being too light. The other drugstore formulas I think I want to try are the light serum foundation from No7 and the infallible glow foundation from L’Oreal.

Really enjoyed this video. With the price of food and gas I have been looking for savings without loosing quality. I too have been impressed with Revlon. Their lip products in particular (brought me back to my youth when it was the ONLY brand I used). I would love to see a full face of this product. Loved the video. Interesting that none of your favorites was a foundation. I wonder if that is telling us that the best foundations are higher end? It would be a fun video if you had to pick a full face of drugstore makeup, and which foundation, color corrector, concealer, etc you would use! (Would love that for higher end too!)

Thank you for mentioning Milani! I remember the brand from the days when it was only sold in a discount beauty supply house and looked cheap. Another youtube content creator had mentioned the cream blush but being a high end snob, I ignored the recommendation. I was looking for a neutral with just a hint of rosiness without any orange or mauve to it. When you mentioned Milani, I checked out their cream blush shades. The shade Nude Kiss is as close as possible to what I had in mind. I like it as much as my cream blushes from Kaer Weiss, Laura Mercier and Rose, Inc. at about a third the price.

I am 60; natural blonde with turning white and fair skin and sparse ( very sparse) eyebrows with gray in what I do have. Any suggestions would be great. Hi, YSL do a pencil in a taupe/grey colour that is apparently fantastic. I watch a lady called middle aged minx, sounds like she has similar colouring to you and she swears by it and her brows look very good. I know YSL is a bit spendy but it’s a quite a hard pencil so should last a long time. Gucci also do some great ones, I don’t mind spending a bit more on a brow pencil as they last a long time and I find my brows so tricky to get right.

Hallo Karla! Same problem by me. Unfortunately The NYX brow pencil in ash brown is great but I need a little more gray. Then I tried other brands in taupe - looks greenish on me. I bought then the Benefit in the colour gray and this is the right one. Maybe you try it. Not too gray, a good gray/brown. Greetings to US from Vienna!
