FAVOURITE NC500 ROUTE on DASHCAM | B869 Newton to Clachtoll | Vlog 407

Our favourite NC500 road is the B869 from Newton to Clachtoll using DASHCAM footage. The B869 is a single track road that is not suitable for Caravans and Motorhomes but we took our VW Crafter van conversion to Clachtoll Beach Campsite via this road. This footage is running at 2 x normal speed and has a sound track without narration.

I was on holiday in Ullapool earlier in 2021. One afternoon I drove along this road, and in this direction. I was too busy concentrating on the road to be able to admire the stunning and varied scenery, so I appreciate you posting this. I can get a proper look now.

Hello...US here in Texas. Very interesting. Nice scenery along with twisty roads but depressing weather. A good motorcycle ride. Would be great for my sports car...lol Good and courteous driver, like myself (lol).

Hi both. We had a cottage at Culkein Drumbeg back in 2004 and we often drove down to Lochinver and the other way over the Kylesku bridge and I don't think we saw as much traffic as you did on that one drive in the entire week we were there. I think when flights & holidays are back up and running again things will quieten down dramatically and there will be loads of motorhomes for sale at reasonable prices :)....PS:- you missed a great walk from Blairmoor to Sandwood Bay...stunning if you get back there again.

Just one lorry going to the village shop and he was very courteous and let us go by. Beautiful scenery for the entire 14 miles but we calculated our average speed was 10mph. Worth it though 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
