Hello, everyone! Friday’s Vlogs are back for 2024 and I could not be more thrilled! Today's video is a mix of my favourite 2023 skincare & makeup finds that I am taking with me into 2024, lifestyle changes, health updates, and recent experiences.
We kick things off with a peek into my revamped skincare and makeup routine, and a few of my recent lifestyle adjustments after a very frustrating chest infection. It’s been a challenging start to the year, but I mean to move forward with a gracious heart and plenty of gusto!
I have some uplifting news about Santana (who is on the mend, thank goodness!) and I share a little insight into my festive season, featuring the prettiest dress and a fabulous movie recommendation - Wonka, starring Timothy Chalamet.
Lastly, I reflect on navigating unexpected turns, and emphasise the importance of taking it easy when life throws curveballs.

Hello Charlie! If you’ve not yet tried Conchus deo cream, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. They’re a small, female owned, West Country business. (I used Mitchum too but it ruined so many dresses!) I’ve used Conchus for three years and it never lets me down; my 20 year old daughter also uses it and her friends have started to as well. I’m so glad that she’s not putting aluminium (which is what stops you perspiring) on that sensitive area under her arms. Perspiration is such an important part of the elimination cycle of our bodies, we should never suppress it, just suppress the pong! The tin lasts three months.

All the natural deodorants I’ve tried end up itching me ….I agree my friend a naturopath said there isn’t anything in the other deodorants that is a baddy …so little alluminium as to be almost non existent . Mitchum for me but sometimes even that doesn’t work …eek ! Also when I get a new mascara it often floods the brush and so I’ve always kept the old tube and brush and washed it then wiped the new mascara onto the old one and use that for a while til the new one has stopped flooding the brush . The😘 Trinny one looks used up ! Happy NewYear Charlie Xax

Fingers crossed you are feeling recovered very soon. I don't spend a lot on skin care. Nivea has always been my go-to moisturiser, but as I get older I realise I might need something a little more effective. I would have to take a deep breath to splash out on the cream you recommend, but maybe I should give it a try.
