Thanks for uploading! I've been learning Welsh recently and I love your videos. I think my favorite words are ones with 'll' since it sounds funny to my ears, but it's fun to say. I'm quite fond of the llyfrgell

Some of my favourite welsh words are nos da, this was the first word I loved, hoffi coffi, I know technically 2 words in one, and wedi blino. I love words that have a nice sound or are fun to say.

Have you ever come across "spreeth" which means to chap in the wind? We used it in our family but no-one else seems to know it!

Jason in another thread /comment, I asked about the Welsh rally team from Neath whose name means "Knights of the night". I now have it on good authority that they are, of course, "Marchogion-y-Nos". Cheers...(the secret seems to be to pronounce the 'g' as an 'n').

Rolling the palate... rrrrs always knock me sideways now. A large part of my family did its best to hide their Welshness after moving to the states. It took me 6 months to learn to pronounce the LL. I'm pretty sure I'll embarrass myself when I visit the far cousins again, who assured me it's easier than English. LOL. But I intend to.

Oh, you are sooooooo funny...I love these words!!!!! I love the historical and spiritual words like CYFARWYDD, poet, ancestor, Faery, wizard, etc. It is hard being American and away from the lands of our ancestors. I was trying to learn Gaelic but the Mabinogi has my ancestors in it and the sound of the Welsh language stirs my HWYL....

I really love cynefin. Like hiraeth, or the Danish word hygge, it's so much more than you could translate into one English word - you need a whole sentence.
