Not sure which player you were little John ( I assume the first?) but you guys killed it. Of course Colleen did a wonderful job with the amp, it's gorgeous and it looks and sounds great.

I love that retro/almost Silvertone look on the control panel!!! "Grit Switch" what's not to love about that!!! Lol. It sounds incredible Colleen, if it sounds this great on this tiny speaker, I can only imagine how great it sounds in person. ❤🎸 P.S. please tell Hank "Hi." He's the ultimate amp shop mascot!!!
@goodun29742 ай бұрын
Hank is indeed super-chill. I have a similarly unflappable 120 lb Anatolian Shepherd we call "Handsome Henry" (video on my channel) who never gets excited about anything, except dinnertime! We actually have 3 dogs: another Anatolian and a Lab-Pit mix, and we foster strays for adoption (we currently have a small Doberman mix in the house).

Beautiful build Colleen, with the "grit" switch engaged it sounds very much like my Masco ME-27. Love the aesthetic too, very early 70's.
@bobbyohanesian42282 ай бұрын
Yay girl! New video! I took my ST 70 to my inventor friend mad Mike to Czech it, output former smoked, damn! Lovely old cloth wiring Dynaco… his website is Third Rail Electric, I used to work for him assembling power conditioners and guitar silent speaker attenuators. Great part time job fer sure! Happy you are making more superb videos,getting pro-fessional now yah
@samuelhatman89952 ай бұрын
That was a treat from beginning to end!!! And you are blessed to have smokinj' test pilots for the demo... Steady growth tied to power of enjoying the build! I bet... if Julian Lage emailed you for a custom amp tailored to his genre, you'd research and shift a few components and boom........ it's a coffee house jazz amp! All the best from Minnesota. No custom amps going on here. California got lucky again!

Love it. I am intrigued though by the three lights on the front! - is that purely for appearance (it looks good) or do they show different things? Similarly, what's the difference between the two one-off switches? Sounds fantastic...

Thank you!! The 3 lights are just for appearance. The power switch farthest to the right is on/off, and the other is standby
