You guys are so “adorable”! 😉 and fun to watch no matter what the subject. We don’t have a Fizolis type place out here in the San Francisco Bay Area, to my knowledge. There are a couple of Rigatonis in the east bay, similar type place, but they don’t hold that nostalgia. Around the Sf area there are so many Italian restaurants that the only issue is choosing one to go to!

Love Love Love Fazolis. One of my favorite places to eat . We have several here in Indiana where I live. The breadsticks are the bomb. We sometimes go to drive thru just for the breadsticks. Love the fettuccine alfredo. YUM 😋 my mouth is watering watching this video. I may have to go to Fazolis for dinner. So next time I visit Tampa I will visit this place. Thank you for this video. 😊

I love Fazoli's. There's a location here in L.A. County not far from my office. The Ultimate pasta sampler with four different pastas and sauces plus two soft, buttery breadsticks for around $11 is a bargain!

( I was first introduced to Fazoli's while at UCF-there was one outside the university property; there was also one on 192, near the Plaza del Sol shopping center.) When I lived in Michigan, there was a Fazoli's I went to all the time (it's still there too). I was obsessed with their pizza baked spaghetti they used to do in the 90s. And I always got a lemon Italian ice with strawberry topping. I remember the Fazoli's that used to be in Lakeland, but now it's a Five Guys. I also remember a location that used to be in Orlando that I went to once maybe 20 years ago. Glad to see the one in Plant City is still open (had heard it closed). Need to get to this one at some point.... maybe after a Busch Gardens visit. Hope they eventually open a location over in Pinellas where I live.

Oh yes! Hubby working in Tampa, we stay at the embassy suites by USF on Fowler when we are in town. I was super stoked when polo tropical opened,. I fly in Wednesday I know what’s for lunch. 😁😁😁😁😁

If you go to the Fazolis websites for Florida it shows a picture of you and you KZbin video you did there in Plant city. Not many left. Most closed in 2008.

I totally understand the excitement and nostalgia for specific restaurants to open near you. The second they open a potbelly’s sandwich shop near us (the only one right now is in the Tampa airport), I will be stoked. That sandwich shop sustained me through college and I have fond memories of that food.

I'm so glad it opened. It was announced on Facebook that they were going to open February 8th (though there could have been earlier announcements). I saw it the day it was posted and was ecstatic because we were going to Busch Gardens on the (Feb) 25th. We were so disappointed it had still not opened. I had commented on their Facebook post after we went to BG, and they responded with an apology. Perhaps I should have been more persistent...lol Hopefully, they'll open a location here in Gainesville again. Ours closed in 2009, literally just weeks before I moved here. I had takeout from there a month and a half before moving here while looking for a place to live here. I've since been to 4 other locations though on road trips. They even have one in Savannah now where I have family and friends, and will hopefully be there in 2 weeks to get it from that location. It may be awhile before I get back to BG (we're pass members), but I'm glad it's there for when we spend the day at the park and can stop there to eat a late lunch or dinner before going home. I would say have lunch there before going to the park, but that won't sit well with me riding the likes of Iron Gwazi and Montu soon after. When they used to have the all you can eat pasta and pizza buffet where Garden Gate Cafe is (old Hospitality House), we ate there and wasn't good for the rest of the day, just stuffed....lol P.S. When I was a broke college kid, Fazoli's was the place to go. Back then, the Pizza was 99 cents. Just add a water and supplement it with all the bread sticks, and ranch dressing, you can handle. Lunch for $1.05.

This place is actually pretty good, same taste as Olive Garden but for a reasonable price. If they could get their salad game up, I’d never go back to Olive Garden. Buca di Beppo and Two Guys in San Bernardino are my favorite Italian restaurants.
